where is the original video
ill never understand why people get excited for videocards that are more than $300.
yea i played a bit earlier and saw u guys with the tf.tv tag or whatever. While FFA is pretty fun the instagib i played was horrible because everyone is stupidly good at wall jumping and apparently you have to go fast to instagib someone. havent tried dueling yet. Most servers with people playing seem to be European or something.
Typically the issues with these types of ideas are lack of organization and lack of a clear plan. If you nail those things and keep everyone informed well enough to where people actually show up on time, and not have everyone sit around for too long this could be great fun for players and viewers.
The 2 seasons i have played invite have been $40, then $50. Can't wait to see it this season...
but lets be honest the "majority" opinion is the only reason it is banned
killing says your team is dead nick, get over it
considering how i am no longer an invite captain and therefore dont have the privilege to vote in such a vote i'm not exactly sure what you think I am arguing for. That I should have had a say in the decision? no... i just dont understand the precedent for making this decision this way.
last season we had the option of limiting heavy to 0 yet we didnt take special steps to make that decision early so people could practice.
all i was trying to say was that there was no reason to stray away from the already established method of the invite captains voting on the weapon bans. Killing did not need to do this ban ahead of schedule without a proper vote, if he truly talked to invite captains at LAN then their opinions would still have been equally valid when the weapon ban vote came around.
hopefully killing will realize he rushed this decision and allow the invite captains to vote on the QF ban like they vote on every other ban in the game.
Yea, this whole situation has been handled extremely poorly. One gullywash game accompanied with horribly exaggerated casting and bashing of the item and everyone is up in arms about an item that we have just barely began to experiment with and how it is the worst thing to ever happen to TF2. Apparently everyone forgot that gullywash is a shit map that tends to have games like the ones everyone is so upset about.
Then, Killing completely throws the established way of deciding weapon bans out the window and makes up the ban for himself. Killing would have been well within his rights to ban it after it was changed initially in S14 and then a re-evaluation should have happened in the offseason before S15. Instead this whole situation is in shambles and everyone is having a heart attack over a weapon that honestly could have added a lot to this game if we had reacted with calmer minds.
