This entire thread is pretty sad. Instead of dissing Sigafoo for spending $1k of his own money on supporting a game mode he enjoys instead of shoving it at a game mode he doesn't play, why don't you donate $1k of your own money to 6s? I don't understand, if you don't enjoy Prolander actually say why instead of just [waaah stop giving money to thing I don't like]. Let the man spend his money how he wants and if you have an actual reason to dislike Prolander other than the fact that it's popular to dislike that's fine, but it seems to me that most of you are just jumping on the bandwagon to hate Sigafoo and his game mode. You act like he's somehow obligated to support 6s and 6s only just because he has money to throw into a competitive format.

Daffodil-controversial opinion: I like 7s
I AM NOT ASHAMED DOWNFRAG ME AS MUCH AS U WANT
Having unpopular opinions is not allowed here, sir. The only game mode you're allowed to like and support is 6s.
daybraeksigafooWe had a survey for our first cup in NA and I was astounded by the results. Over 90% of the people who filled out survey said they enjoyed playing Prolander.I wonder why those who chose to play Prolander said they liked to play Prolander...
It's almost as if people enjoy playing TF2. I don't understand why you would post here just to say "I don't like [thing]."
The real question is why is a 6 year old allowed to play Roblox for 21 hours straight. Something doesn't add up here.
One of the greatest minds of the 21st century and a true role model for future generations to look up to. Someone who didn't give up and kept doing his own thing until the very end is definitely a hero for the ages.
jetzzzzzthere is music that is objectively good.
there is no music that is objectively bad.
Is this the part where someone links Friday and starts picking on an oblivious 14 year old child?
glassjesus. do people ever get banned on this website
He got banned once for saying "you couldn't even kill yourself right" to someone, so yeah. It should've been a longer ban, though.
lighthouseid actually like to hear more about this. i never played competitive pokemon myself but ive been interested in it for a while and i was under the impression it was actually an extremely complicated game with lots of variables to consider and lots of prediction required (similar to how chess requires prediction).
Pokemon is basically RPS: the game, even in "competitive" format. Anything that relies so heavily on RNG for it's main mechanic doesn't take skill, imo. Unless you want to start arguing that luck is a skill in which case I will laugh at you. I only really like playing Pokemon because it appeals to my desire to collect useless garbage without spending actual money on collecting useless garbage.
Giving a character PTSD or depression or [insert mental issue here] doesn't automatically make your game "deep." Most walking simulators are written by people whose heads are shoved 6 feet deep up their own ass.
ShiftaTES oblivion is boring and lifeless.
I've never met anyone who didn't think this outside of people who were like 3 when Oblivion came out.
SpaceCadetAre these ever going to include any off-classing rules? At this point, you basically rely on the other team to play the game properly but nothing in the rules can keep them from ruining the experience by off-classing the entire match.
WolfMachinaClass limits: 2 for each of scout and soldier; 1 for all other classes (that’s right only one
Pyro this time)
CaptainZidgelNo divisions yet?
Maybe next month...
Are there even enough teams competing for there to be divisions? Though the wide variance in skill levels among teams is a bit questionable, last time around my mid-Steel HL team went 5-0 against a team full of people with ~100 hours who also 5-0'd another team. I think just having people participate is more important than dividing people up with ranks, since that's just more work and only around 35 teams played last time.

This goes far beyond simply looking out for your well being and into paranoia territory. If your father is being truly unreasonable you could try to work out some sort of schedule where you're allowed to play for an hour each day, even though this would essentially be treating you like a child. You could also give him some spiel about learning responsibility so you can drop the extra homework class to get a part-time job to help speed up your independence.
That was a beautiful ending to a fantastic documentary. I don't like most of you guys, but I still love you.
Just put the bracket name and results in the title instead of outright saying which teams have won.
