it's actually cointreau, a liqueur made by taking a neutral grain spirit and soaking sweet and bitter orange peels in it, combined with the addition of sugar.

people who try to argue that they didn't make a mistake using their status, level they play at, ad hominem attacks on you, etc., rather than actually saying why it wasn't a mistake

you could be the lowliest pubber or a high invite player. if you fucked up, you fucked up. the rest is irrelevant.

also people with extremely undeserved egos (e.g. anyone on any of the terrible IM teams that only exist because they hijacked some roster or got lucky that act like hot shit because they're technically in IM)

wareya, the reason you feel like no one "gets" your argument is not that we don't understand it. it's that it's full of all these mitigating factors and preconceived notions about how tf2 works that we don't accept as gospel without talking about them as well.

all of your posts have a bunch of subtext about what tf2 "ought to be" in a really abstract sense of that, and that's ridiculously subjective.

you still haven't responded to what I said a looooong time ago.

this is a team game. if there's a class that (not even always, just in a small handful of specific situations) is really strong in 1v1s, but extremely weak when focused by multiple players, doesn't that balance his 1v1 capabilities?

who gives a fuck if you can't usually beat a pyro while plusforwarding him as a lone scout or gunboats roamer? WHY WOULD YOU BE PLUSFORWARDING TO ENTER A 1V1 IN THE FIRST PLACE. the pyro is less forgiving in that regard, sure, but 1v1s are stupid the majority of the time.

I main demoman and I know for a fact that, because I'm incredibly powerful when left unchecked, I'm gonna be focused by several players all the time. yet, I manage to cope, because the class itself is capable of avoiding that scenario (with its mid-range strength and area denial). a pyro has NONE of that shit. just because a class becomes the priority target in most of the situations where it's viable doesn't mean it's broken. heavy and engineer are the exact same thing.

#10 I completely disagree.

In a lot of situations (e.g. those where pyro is run in the first place), it's extremely hard to beat a pyro 1 on 1. However, your logic (when describing how airblasting can mess up the aim of an opponent due to source engine wizardry, the super fast 2-shot kill, etc.) ignores the possibility of multiple people focusing the pyro. In that regard, his lack of damage output, range or mobility completely cripples him. I don't see how a class can have balance issues when, even in the few instances where he can be useful, he crumbles when more than one class focuses on him.

Yeah, puff+sting or puff+flare might be a faster, more guaranteed kill if pulled off correctly than even direct pipes or close-range scattergun, but the scout has hitscan, can double jump and is fast, and the demo can sticky jump and has mid-range capabilities. All the pyro has is that quick kill, which is extremely avoidable if you just don't fight him on his terms.

That's like saying a heavy is OP because if you run right next to him you'll be gunned down almost instantly. It's meaningless without context.
