OBS lag

I tried out OBS and it was great. I was able to get minimal fps drop and the game seemed smooth overall. The only problem I had was my actual stream playback. My stream was very laggy, idk if this is a problem with my OBS settings or my internet. Does anyone know how to fix this?

flynn__flynn__during your rocket jumps, you tap C with correct timing after you jump and you'll get more distance on your RJ's. Also called ducktapping.
Question, what about this is wrong? Not sure I understand it if it's getting a negative response
-you dont get more distance you get more height
-you dont tap c
-you dont tap c AFTER you jump
