used to play age of empires 2 on our old pentium win95 laptop
ty for bringing back those memories of ignoring the game completely and just making lots of cars with machine guns to win every level
at least it taught me how to use ctrl c and ctrl v :>

You can already set a max ping with
tf_matchmaking_ping_a tf_matchmaking_ping_b tf_matchmaking_ping_c
that doesn't work, those cvars are locked in matchmaking and were made for quickplay in any case
please save this shit for reddit, the only thing wrong with this update was the implementation
retrogradeunless you think that you would be able to ok people sending computer parts and fees for you participating in a free league -_-
yeah because free leagues cant have high level players >.>
every pipe does 100 damage now
When you have your melee weapon out, you can't detonate by holding down right click before the arm time, you have to spam right click and the first time you hit it after the arm time is up the sticky will detonate.
When you are swinging your melee weapon, it's impossible to detonate stickies.
I wasn't aware of anything to do with pipes before, though.
You're dropping lots of packets. Your usb network thing is probably bad. You could run an ethernet cable, get a network card, or even set up powerline.
gatsanI'm not sure if the dev team realise how dumb it is playing with 54 fov vmod. It's honestly baffling thst they legitimately think that having your weapon block half your screen is an appropriate playing level to force everyone on. Have they never watched a competitive stream or vid and realised "Hey, everyone plays with 70-90 vmod fovwhen they've got it on and it doesn't look too bad, maybe we should just limit it to 70 instead of force them to play at this shit level?"
IMO 70 is a good cap, original blatantly loads no rockets beyond ~75 and a magic hand appears beyond 90.
I use 110 for my melee weapons... I'm not alone in that either afaik
I just ordered this one, it's massively cheaper than any other 144 hz monitor I could find and it's apparently overclockable up to ~177 hz.
miwolook at CS, at the highest level viewmodels are still present.
We spend way too much time looking at csgo, and it's obviously rubbed off onto valve. The viewmodel minmode was an ingenious solution to a problem that didn't really exist. It works, sure, but so would allowing people to have screen space.
And really, of all the questions a newer player will be asking about a pro streamer, "where are your hands" is really the tip of the iceberg, you know? "How are you flying," "why is that angry american guy always throwing himself at you" and "where's my favorite class -gaben" are all more complex and have answers that are much harder to comprehend as someone completely new to tf2.
It's really not that hard to understand that professional players hide their weapons because they don't need to see the same animations play over and over.
If Crowns could stop Nameless from using a coach because they didn't have one, how is Jasmine being unable to spend another ~$1k to bring along a 7th any different? Can Multiplay/insomnia fund the difference?
sombrezvJillHey guys what's going on in this threadPeople are figuring out how to use fps configs in comp because you didn't optimize the game in the update
They actually did a bit to be fair
MagikarpViewmodel update wait counter: 5 days
I hate to say this a bit, but I think it would help if someone like Slin make a reddit post about this and show that the community wants these changes. If we all upvote it and get some great positive support for it, it might work.
Or a composed email to Eric.
I don't think everyone does want it, minmode is so small that the biggest problem people had with viewmodels (them being in the damn way all the time) is basically a non-issue now. And making this game easier to understand for new people at first glance is certainly worth something.
It will literally only matter if comp tf2 gets so big that valve starts sponsoring tournaments and enforcing their settings there. Until then, we'll most likely be able to turn viewmodels off whenever we're not in matchmaking. I feel like that'd be a small price to pay if the game did get big, in any case.
KiNGFOV 54 is retarded. The fuckin stickybomb launcher covers the entire sceen when reloading. I'm pretty sure FOV 72 was already hated by the large majority of players playing in the beta, so they just HAD to lower it more to 54....
