Can people who have valve members on steam or whatever please actually pass on stuff like this, I've lost count of the number of times basic stuff has been suggested here and it still isn't in the game.
zoom_sensitivity_ratio has been locked for the entire matchmaking beta and no one's done anything, and now cl_interp is locked to scout settings for everyone all the time, like really please you have this access now fucking use it for something good rather than memeing about how you're moving house
Australia is still counted as part of asia for matchmaking purposes, maybe you could mention that to valve at some point so that we dont always have to play with/against people with ~250 ping for no reason
trippapimp is a really good support player also a solid secondary awper I think he'll fit in fine
but TL won't win majors without s1mple anymore so rip p1mple
holy shit
those two matches were the best i've ever seen
JarateKingnopeSo b4nny just said that he thought viewmodels will be forced on in matchmaking, with the new minmode the only customisation possibleAnything on transparent viewmodels? Are minmode viewmodels the compromise or are transparent viewmodels officially being supported still a possibility (and are transparent viewmodels through the current hud method still doable in mm)?
:/
I got the impression that minmode was the compromise and transparent viewmodels aren't going to be a thing.
however b4nny did say that the minmode was pretty good and that he saw an early version of minmode for the shotgun where he could 'barely see the tip of the gun' or something like that, so it could end up being a reasonable compromise
So b4nny just said that he thought viewmodels will be forced on in matchmaking, with the new minmode the only customisation possible
:/
kirbyThis makes me wonder: Was the War! update just to see who gets their update/unlocks first, or were Valve actually thinking of giving Demo the gunboats if he had won?
Demo would have got gunboats if he'd won, yes. Robin Walker confirmed that a long time ago.
phobiaanyone who joins team pyro should get banned
You're telling me you think pyro needs a rework less than heavy does?
TZARMR_SLINYou forgot to put no highlander under good news.
good news for 6vs6 gays
what are you doing on this forum?
Tame_Impalapanda106There should also be a matchmaking maximum ping option
tf_matchmaking_ping_a (default value 50),
tf_matchmaking_ping_b (default value 150),
tf_matchmaking_ping_c (default value 300)
The MM system initially searches for a server with a ping under tf_matchmaking_ping_a's value. If it can't find one, it searches for a server with a number under tf_matchmaking_ping_b. If it still can't find a server with a ping under tf_matchmaking_ping_b's value, it searches for a server with a ping under tf_matchmaking_ping_c's value. IIRC, you have to change these values from the main menu, or you might have to restart your game. They also reset after every MM match to the default values of 50, 150 and 300 respectively unfortunately. I'm pretty sure that's how these commands work, but I might be wrong.
I think those are for quickplay though? Are you sure valve has reused them for matchmaking?
I just queued up to mm to check and it's still locked to 1...
now i have to play some aids mm on a tokyo server and i still can't snipe. valve pls
LG primary reward for the winner?
BurningSmileavaiihn"Players will only be able to modify graphics settings that are available in the Options and Advanced Options menus."
Damn, I liked the look of bad graphics TF2, though I guess I'm probably in the minority.
Also, the Casual MM is BIG. I've had several friends quit tf2 early on bc they get wrecked by pub stompers all day and they get frustrated by it. Matching newbies with other newbies will make the beginning experience much less frustrating
Looks like Eric read my email about it being confusing.
rowpiecesSmesiwhat community is the cringiest, the pyro main one or the heavy main onepyro by far
Valve can be so savage sometimes, it's great.
