hertz (prem player in oz) uses 4g when his normal net is shitting out and gets better ping and negligible packet loss, so it really depends on your connection

Every admin of this steam group (Aus/NZ):
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/weraidservers
Have already encountered some of them multiple times in MM.
Also, pretty sure Divmah aka tacit hacks as well.
DreamboatTFTV doesn't have an AU casting team
maybe someone should look into that
flameits not about being better, its about being more suited for lower level games.
Like obviously high level tf2 would benefit from timelimit or bo5, im not like disputing that at all.
I am not sure the low level lost plebs want to be playing dragged out steamrolls is more or less the argument. It can create some pretty bad environments, regardless of whether or not it's 'better'
I'll try to use last nights bugs/froyo match as an example of why neither party should have been forced to play that match any longer than it went. it doesnt lead to good things. thats one example from one subset of data, but games like that are more prevalent in lower levels of tf2, and if you think b4nny lost his shit, wait until you see what the raging sociopaths of open can be like when stuck in games they dont want to be in.
Do you really think that having the average 5cp game last 5 minutes is the way we want matchmaking to go? With some going for 50 because lol 4 heavies/demos/engis/whatever is allowed?
flameSideshowI really really hope they're not gearing towards winlimit 2 in mm. Or even winlimit of any kind - without a timelimit these games will be either a stupidly small amount of rounds or last a ridiculously long time. Timelimit is such a better option but they seem to be going the other way.
timelimit creates a feeling of helplessness and toxicity, I had this discussion with them, they're absolutely correct in thinking that.
it creates this feeling of knowing whether you can fit in a game or not, as well... and knowing the game won't last forever.
PumCould this mean they are really going for BO3 in MM as a final idea?
fuck
wait why is G2 shown as one of the big four, it was ex-G2 now known as faze that got to semis last time, they dont even have any of their players so how can they inherit their spot?
If you absolutely need to get a laptop, then that one will be ok. I have one that's almost exactly the same, with a very slightly better cpu and graphics card (i5-4510u and 840m), and I usually get around 100-120 fps with a decent graphics config and using processlasso to keep my first two cores clear for tf2. But I do, fairly rarely, get the occasional stutter. If you are able to buy a desktop, then do so -- with the same money you'll be able to get something a LOT more powerful.
razeyou also have less people than texas....
less idiots here than in texas too

Isn't sideshow still in nappies, how can you define him as old?
Marmie's guide to making tf2 an esport:
Step 1: Become CS:GO
Step 2: Profit? ??
???!??!
?!?!
Se7enthe irony of this is that had this thread not blown up, less people would've seen what stabby even said and less people would've become exposed to bad ideas (the very thing this thread was trying to prevent i guess.)
this was way more popular on reddit/twitter, that's the issue
