Setlet Demo's impact in game is pretty low
While I agree with this, saying that theres not much more you can do when you are talking about every demo except kaidus is just wrong. There is plenty room for improvement for most of the demos in prem, and its just a matter of applying their skill set in a different manner to how they are used to. Since the sticky nerf and the evolution of the meta to the current scout-heavy style, demomen should play a much more supportive heal efficient role to maximise their effect and enable their team. Take a look at how duwatna played with froyo, and compare it to how numlocked played in i49 epsi, there's a huge disparity in the how heal efficient they were within those teams, but they were both the best demos in the game at the time of their peaks. IMO kaidus is the only demo in a top team atm (probably termo as well but I haven't been paying much attention to the AU scene so I can't say that with confidence) that has the mechanics and decision making to play a more heal heavy leading demo and have it work within the dynamic of his players. I think it is fair to say iikq hasn't been a big impact player for PlanEx so far, but he definitely has the skill set to be able to do so, and that is the case for pretty much every demo in prem, like I said, its a matter of how they apply their skill set within the dynamic of their team.
sheepy_dogs_hand Even if you look at his stats in officials he isn't that far behind other demomen in prem.
Also I dont think stats indicate how impactful demos are nearly as much as they used to. Take ryb for example; he never had great stats but ask almost anyone that played against him regularly, they will tell you that he is hard to play against. There's a reason he is one of the greatest demos to play the game.
