fargobawlers>>brian eno - music for airports<<
i guess it depends on the subject tho, i dont like listening to music while i read
my man
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOpRj927vRc
my favorite of eno's ambient work
can't stand chance's style of rapping, kind of ruined the song for me. besides that though, the instrumental's pretty chill, beat's p dope as well.
mac's cool. his music brings the chill to any place and time in the world and his voice is really fun. i'm really burnt out on this song and mac demarco in general though, listened to him too much over the summer
not a big fan. a little too fast and dance-y.
@crypto: the singer for that hookworm band sounds like he's trying really hard to be black francis from pixies but it's still pretty cool so thanks for sharing

not a big fan of jules's solo career. it's listenable but i think that's just because of his voice. kind of boring otherwise. thanks for sharing snowmine though, really laid back indie rock, gonna look into them.

my man.
love letters is good too but there are a few songs that aren't so chill. *shrug*
ToodlesI always find First Aid Kit to be relaxing. Even the more up-tempo songs are relaxing. New Album is amazing
P.S. nice music for studying like reading course lit and writing.
first aid kit are lovely. voices of angels.
also, mother of mercy, the grandfather of ambient music makes some of the finest chillout music of all time if you don't mind repetition.

these are my favorite albums of his. also aphex twin's first two albums (Selected Ambient Works 85-92 and Selected Ambient Works Volume II) are really nice ambient techno, the latter being a lot more chillout in the traditional sense.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF REMOVING THAT!?
this is cool. i dig the syncopated sample that drones on during the whole song and how everything sort of builds off of that. electronic stuff usually doesn't appeal to me but there's some rhythmically interesting stuff going on here that makes it really fun to listen to. thanks for posting.
i won't post a song so the user below me can comment on your track too. just felt like throwing my opinion out there anyway
i wasn't sure if that was safe to click but i took a leap of faith just for you, friend. it was okay i guess. lyrics are really important to me so i don't generally enjoy music in languages i don't understand unless it's really good music. that kind of wasn't tbh :\
also how does the lead singer of sublime remind of jeff mangum in the slightest lol
dig the groove and the vocals, but i'm a little tentative on contemporary soul/funk honestly. just feels a little too by-the-book and i'd rather just listen to soul/funk from when that was still a thing
ulmyxxyung lean
shit yeah my nigga yung lean go so fuckin hard man and lil b keeps it real as fuck too
i fuck with these niggas 100%
yung's new lp gonna fuckin smack so hard homie
dcfc is a weird band for me. they're really hard to hate, but they're hard to love too. the singer's voice always kind of put me off. i want to listen to one of their albums all the way through but i feel like his voice would wear on me.
i really like the drums in this song though, and the keyboard (xylophone? i can't tell) halfway through the song was cool.
mac's music is the chillest in the universe, i swear. 2's just a great album, although this isn't my very favorite song off of it. if you haven't listened to his debut or salad days yet, i'd highly recommend them
eee my man, don't hate a band just because it's got a bad rep/is overrated, and honestly, don't use "dadrock" or "dadrockers" unironically. :\ i'd say "keep that shit on /mu/" but nobody rly wants it there either.
