well here's hoping they think of a different nerf i guess. would be pretty stupid if they just reverted the nerf and left the whole thing alone.

Baby's On Fire is a huge guilty pleasure but I was never able to get into any other Die Antwoord songs. I also really can't stand their image. As a song though, I liked when Yolandi's chorus came in, but I feel like this one runs way too long especially since it was so repetitive.
2cdid anyone watch the awkward nintendo commentators smile into the screen for 45s when a trailer failed to transition
this didn't bother me much
2cor the fade out while the guy's mid-talk about some game
THIS did though, oh my god. I covered my mouth for a solid 10 seconds in disbelief and closed out. I don't know why, but it was just painful to experience.

downpourobe_how would this work if a quick fix medic heals the soldier i wonder? i'm sitting here crying at the thought of a soldier and medic just floating around raining death from the sky (or getting super excited at the thought of that provided i'm the soldier w/ the quick fix pocket medic cuz that would be fun af)quick fix is only affected by the initial momentum from an explosive jump
oh yeah. if something impedes or alters the soldier's movement in any way, the medic will keep moving in accordance to the rocketjump. i haven't had much experience with the quick fix but that makes sense. sounds like a fun unlock then.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but still cool to listen to. The aggression and abruptness of the drop was definitely the coolest part about this song (usually stuff in this vein has a really predictable/formulaic building) and it makes me think this song was tailor made for a frag vid. I actually closed my eyes and saw airshots.
It was a pretty long ride, but I was pretty surprised by this! Really cool listen. I loved the droning piano and the dreamy, melancholic strings. Whole thing had a really cool post rock vibe with an ambient spin, and the gradual crescendo made it difficult to stop listening. Vocals are probably make-or-break and while I didn't love them they were far from unlistenable. I think I'm gonna check out this guy's bandcamp, thanks.
e: random recommendation after creeping on your lastfm, but I think you'd really enjoy Godspeed You's other albums, especially F#A# Infinity, if you haven't listened already
Killer track, killer album. I really miss the old black keys' sound. I respect 'em for trying new stuff w/ their new lp, but it's not really being done well imo and their old straight-up blues/garage rock is missed. Their cover of Have Love, Will Travel is my favorite off of that album.
thrasherMortal Kombat has always been a shitty fighting game. It's always sold units because of the fatalities and nothing else. Even today pretty much every fighter has the same basic moves and a very limited number of special moves. It's always been a clunky game. Tekken and Street Fighter have always been far better.
is there something wrong with this or...?
i'm not a very competitive or serious guy when it comes to fighting games and neither are any of my friends and we all love MK because it's brutal, the more recent games have a great aesthetic (apparently some shots in this trailer are the actual gameplay), and the characters are fun.
i know you're just sharing your opinion and that's cool but it's not like there's anything wrong with MK being popular for reasons other than mechanics, and you're making it sounds like there is.
listen to music (mostly dreampop) or go for walks in the mornings when there are little to no people on the streets, or take walks in generally isolated places.
nujabes is always easy on the ears, lot of respect for him, especially his contributions to samurai champloo's ost. i'm not super crazy about his music, but this shing02 guy deserves some serious props for those lyrics.
(btw props for AJJ, encre; that whole album is killer)
not really feeling this song :[ i didn't like the lyrics and the song didn't really go anywhere or leave any kind of impression on me, just in one ear and out the other. it was cool how it seemed to blend hip hop/raggae/ska in its sound, and it's probably way more appealing if you're into any of those but i'm not so :s
here's a super downtempo track from my most anticipated album of 2014 that just dropped today

that webm looks nicer than my actual tf2 and has a higher framerate oh god.
more on topic, i've been disconnected from the hud/crosshair customization scene for a really long time and sometimes i check on to hud changes thread and it blows my mind seeing some of the stuff people do. and now this! has this stuff always been possible or has valve recently made tf2 more customizable?
