If you guys can't decide on what ruleset to use (if the NA ruleset of score keeping is even doable on etf2l's current web setup), try doing a experimental short cup for each ruleset. Expose both NA and EU players to both setups and make a final, unbiased and fair decision on which is the superior.

If you use image panels, use the technique that HUDAS uses. Make multiple image panels of different colors (Buff/Low/Normal) and have them change "alpha" rather than color.

So when you get buffs, the box will appear, and as soon as you go back to normal it'll disappear, like it's supposed too.

Of course if you have another box that is normal, make sure to animate it so it goes from 255 to 0 and back. I'm sure you're aware of this but it's worth noting anyway.

First, find the file: resource/ui/SpectatorGUIHealth.res

To change the font size, find: "PlayerStatusHealthValue"
The font should be Cerbetica with a number on the end (Cerbetica12, for example. I don't use Rayshud so I can't remember what the number exactly is). Change that number at the end to a higher number. I believe Rays has set the numbers in intervals of 2. You may also need to mess with the wide/tall and xpos/ypos values as well. Just keep working with it until you get it to where you want.

To change the cross size, find: "PlayerStatusHealthBonusImage"
Change the wide and tall values until you come to the size you prefer. You'll also need to mess with the xpos/ypos positions as well, to center it up with the number. Again, it's just about trying numbers until it looks good.

(For good measure, you should also change these exact values in resource/ui/SpectatorTournamentGUIHealth.res as well, but it's not required)

Something I'm working on. Starting completely from scratch instead of working from a HUD edit, going to be more consistent in design with this one. I'm also aware how YaHud-ish this looks, and I really don't care all that much.
