I also preferred the different mid, I honestly don't understand why so many people like classic gran mid when to me it's an unreadable shitfest where tactical play is secondary to mindlessly bombing -> scout cleanup

I really wouldn't do this, it means your vertical sens is the same but horizontal is lower, which a) doesn't give the same feeling as your tf2 sens anyway and b) means your vertical sens is higher than your horizontal one which you objectively don't want for cs

take everything out of your launch options except -console (leave the resolution commands if you want but they do nothing once set), all of those other commands are either useless relics or buggy and harmful

there's a thread stickied on the steam tf2 forums about adding an exemption to a certain folder in your antivirus try doing that as well

make sure cl_threaded_bone_setup is set to 0 for a dual core CPU

if those don't work try -autoconfig in launch options and see if that fixes anything, and if you have any skins or anything installed remove them

From a scout main's perspective:

A really good demo can still kill any scout pretty quickly for not paying attention on mids, as long as they're playing with their team, so midfight meta is still pretty similar from what I can see. The majority of demos I've talked to barely noticed the nerf, but I think in general the game has subtly changed from both scouts rotating for buffs between combo and flank to 1 scout playing around combo a lot with the other scout rotating.

This is probably because I think the demo nerf hasn't affected damage vs one player as much as some people think but as hellbent said it means stacking together through a choke is significantly easier.

The other thing is that demo no longer always top damages, it more depends on your play style as to whether your pocket, demo or roamer top damages.

unrelated but clean up your autoexec, you have the null-cancelling movement script in there twice and you have a ton of rope commands but no actual graphics stuff

normal sports are also way better for you (esp for young kids) than videogames so as much as i enjoy games it's probably better that sports stay more popular

There was also a maths game of some sort installed on the computers in early primary school, I swear it was called Math Blaster but I can't find it anywhere on the internet. It was like a sidescrolling platformer where you had to solve maths problems to shoot your blaster thing at aliens? I think I can't quite remember but it was hella fun.

And AoE2 was and still is my favourite RTS ever
