zowie fk is good but has slightly rigid buttons

if I were you I'd pick between the deathadder, zowie evo cl, g400s and the aforementioned mice primarily depending on shape, although I would say the the g402 is mostly based off a gimmick you'll never flick that fast unless you play soldier at like 80cm/360

I think the best way to do this is to have one team running cookie cutter, one team with open whitelist, and work out which weapons give the open whitelist a distinct advantage. Otherwise people just fuck around and we don't get anywhere

I'm primarily backing straight up strange levels - no "strange" and no "totally ordinary" but with "hale's own mercenary" as the final rank instead of Australian, it's simple and already recognisable to existing players. It has to fit with the tf2 theme and phrases like "elite master" sound tryhard enough in cs, here it'd be downright ridiculous.

Another option is basing it off tf2's bountiful lore, something like starting at some insignificant character (not super familiar with the story) going through Lowly Merc to Miss Pauling to Mann Brother and finally to Saxton Hale (with other things in between). Bad implementation but you get the idea.
