is anyone else getting significantly worse fps since the update?
I remember the ridiculous hype for "bst's mouse" which was going to be the perfect best mouse ever and usurp every other gaming mouse because it was made by a quake player.
I think if it had been released earlier it would've been amazing but with the advent of other similarly performing, similarly styled mice like the g100s and kinzu v3 between announcement and release I really don't think it's that exceptional.
What was once an impressive "feature", the avago 3090, is now pretty much an accepted standard amongst new fps-oriented mice, although it is probably the cheapest 3090 option on offer. But then again, the performance difference between it and the 3050 in similar mice is negligible.
In the end I would say it's still marginally the best mouse of its shape and price point. However it's probably not worth buying to replace your old mouse (unless you're a big nerd) and the performance doesn't stand out from other top tier offering such as the g400 or the zowies.
maybe the one in this video is what you're looking for? :)))
LazyHas there ever been a fix for this? I have a 7850. My fps never dips below 60 but I'm feeling some extreme choppiness at random times when I'm moving my mouse. Seems pretty random but it doesn't usually happen immediately after starting TF2. Easily replicable on tr_walkway by letting the bots run for a few minutes. I've tried updating graphics drivers, changing mat_queue_mode, disabling aero, setting a max fps but nothing really helps.
probably your CPU overheating and throttling itself down to normal temps
"TF2GAMESBut if names of other persons are what you really asked for, I can list few. Mark, John & Caroline.
nail in the coffin
who are you? do you play competitive/does anyone actually KNOW you as part of the community? if you dont play the game why would you invest so much in this? and why can't you be translucent about this project and actually give us a hint about who you are. Answering direct questions with "you don't need to worry about it" or a straight yes/no without explanation makes you seem pretty suspicious. And why would you run such an absurdly exorbitant number of servers?

shouldn't this always be set to 1 otherwise you're rendering things uselessly?
stake jumping is RAD, but I'm kinda worried that this has as steep a learning curve as cpma, I think I personally would've preferred something more refined and intuitive that follows the "simple to learn, difficult to master" ethos
but then again, it is a cpma clone so I couldn't reasonably expect anything different
first time I've heard fan-made tf2 voice acting that didn't make me cringe, well done
~NERD ESSAY~
I have to acknowledge that valve has made the pyro a lot less of a train wreck than it was at release, and I feel like now it actually has a defined yet flexible role in highlander at least, which is pretty decent, however it's also the fucking lamest and shittest class in the game besides minisentry engineers.
interesting/unique/team-oriented parts of pyro:
- combos as a concept
- reflects as a concept
- balanced/interesting secondaries
faggot parts of pyro:
- afterburn as it is
- getting airblasted
- weird stupid flame mechanics
- reflects as they are
proposed fixes:
- airblast takes momentum into account (both less annoying for bombing soldiers and means you can't get flarepunched as easily)
- maybe smaller reflect window/you have to actually aim reflects, at the moment it's pretty common to accidentally reflect stuff and it's pretty easy to hit point blank reflects
- afterburn strength/duration is scaled to the amount of direct fire damage taken, so when you get touched by that w+m1 idiot from 15 metres away just before you kill him you don't take 60 damage guaranteed or have to find a pack
- much faster-travelling flame particles in a tighter cone
all pretty basic things but it's the most comprehensive/non-gimmicky way to actually fix the class rather than just saying "it's shit remove it" or whatever
unlikely but once I left -autoconfig in launch options and forgot about it which would wipe my favourites on launch (I think)
super hyped for a new 6s koth map, especially one which doesn't seem as chaotic and open as via
TaKoCheeseFirst to 5, round limit of 5 minutes. Once it reaches 5 minutes, round restarts, another midfight happens. I feel like stalemates happen when midfights aren't exactly explicitly won by one team.
this is fucking stupid because tf2 is much more about knowing how to dynamically play a stalemate than it is simple dm/midfights
i clean my mousepad with just detergent and water at least every week, feels so much smoother afterwards
