Since your mostly going to be listening to music, in my opinion you might as well stick to 2.1 instead of 5.1. Unless your using it for games/mostly movies 5.1 in my opinion is a little over kill. I'm currently running my logitech Z-5500 and its used mostly for music. Funny thing about that system, is that I only have the 2 fronts working an the 10" sub. I could have bought a smaller system, but hey having a bigger sub adds that extra bass LOL! Anyways two systems you can test at your local dealer probably at best buy or maybe frys is the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 or the Logitech Z-623. Newegg is a great site, but at times even ebay got some great deals as well. While searching on ebay, also check out these discontinued models Logitech Z-2300, Klipsch iFi, Logitech Z-680, Logitech Z-560. All great systems before they discontinued it :/. Anyways good luck!
