#1 Team Immunity (Aus) demos ? in TF2 General Discussion

Apparently demos for iM are just about impossible to find. Ruwin spent like an hour on stream trying to find recent, on-class demos for them to review but they're just about impossible to find. With them coming to i49, me and a lot of others are interested in seeing them. Does anyone have any within the last few months?

#9 weapon ban pugs and info for valve? in TF2 General Discussion
KoobadoobsThis right here is the problem. Everyone thought we were doing this to tell them what weapons need reworks.

All they wanted was for us to experiment with different systems for banning weapons so they could implement a lobby system with picks/bans. Unfortunately, no PUG groups that I'm aware of actually tried realistic systems like one ban per player (the one I played in had like 2-6 bans per team which made no sense to me at all), let alone give feedback to valve.

This is the problem. People thought this was about weapon rebalance. No, thats for Valve to do. We were supposed to figure out a pick/ban system that would work and let valve see what weapons were popular and were banned often so they could get some real-world insight onto what weapons players thought were OP or UP. I think things got muddled because 1. we're not sure how to do it and 2. we're not sure who to report our findings too.

Sal or eXtine, did you guys ever get the proper info to send to valve?

I miss the old layout. I hope they let you opt-out or edit it to be more utilitarian like it used to be. :,(

I only watch every once in awhile, but Danny doesn't seem too bad. The intro sounds weird without Jon though.

#13 PC BUILD OPINIONS in Hardware
TviQYou just said that your AMD processor did 90 FPS ingame while streaming meanwhile i got the i5 and i get 240 / 150 on mid

My i5 3570k lags considerably and noticeably when streaming, and its overclocking to 4.5GHz. Theres more in the system then just the CPU when talking about streaming, and the numbers I've seen tell me the 8350 is better at it, if only because it has more cores to dedicate strictly to different task (IE some for the game, some for the streaming software)

I personally don't trust that power supply. You have to remember: The PSU is the piece that supplies high voltage to every part of a PC, which is made of very electrical sensitive parts. I would suggest spending a bit more and getting a Corsair, Seasonic or PC Power and Cooling PSU.

Also, your heatsink is really poor, I would doubt its much better then stock. Find a nice stand-up heatsink with plenty of heatpipes so they can move the heat away from the CPU properly.

EDIT: Like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 Or one similar.

Ragorismr4pturewho'd have figured I'd actually come to miss own3d.

EDIT: Seriously though this is why having alternatives is a good thing.

I dunno about that, everytime I watched something on own3d it was agonizing

The own3d thing was a joke. I was serious about alternatives though. Twitch has been great obviously, but competition is good, and would give us something else to use in the times Twitch is down.

I mean really, twitch going down brought the Teevox selection down to like 4 channels. One service error from one provider bringing down the entire streaming ecosystem isn't bueno.
