definitely, but i think its hard to compare an entire continent to a country despite it being huge. while the belgians in congo (heart of darkness anyone?) are pretty hard to beat, i would say the british were quite horrific as well even though there were some positives, but i don't think it was worth it.

i was mainly comparing the roots of asians and africans in their home countries, as i have more experience with them than in america. the roots of inequality for africa stems a lot from the fact that they do not have a lot of arable land (more on this discussed by famous scientist jared diamond), but its not the only cause of difference levels of educational success either there or here.

in india (and other asian countries, e.g. south korea) the culture is so education oriented in all classes (kids younger than me committing suicide for not getting above 95% is a common occurrence), whereas the focus was different in some african countries. in america obviously asian immigrants have a clear advantage than people who were enslaved...

I had the same issue all day yesterday man, really frustrating. It was perfect the days before.

Might try posting some logs onto the OBS site and help the creator to see what's up.

so i found out my zalman mic doesnt work on my laptop (since my audio in jack is a line in thus it cant power it or something) so ive been using my laptops built in mic unknowingly and wondering why the quality is so shit.

thus i need a usb headset for my laptop to be able to use an external mic. suggestions?

(also, ill need to get a usb hub to accomodate my headset. should i get a powered one if the 3 things ill connect are mouse keyboard and headset, or is a non powered one fine?)

this is amazing, it lets me stream on a dual core old computer. and also performs way better with aero.
