bunnyhopping is also not too hard to just feel out manually with spacebar
Rando and grape confirmed??
Venue is being talked to, to help us land a reservation for a LAN, fill out this form!

The more legitimate signups and dates that work, the sooner we can hammer out the details to make this happen before summer ends.
This is not an rsvp form, we just need precursory data. The official rsvp form will be made once the date has been secured

Read these.
Think about the areas you're making, and consider them from both perspectives (Offense and Defense) and find a balance where people on either side will enjoy the area they are playing in.
No one likes to be in a dead area that leaves them at a disadvantage (whether attacking or defending) so build areas that are neutrally useful.
corbtWas expecting thread about koth_product mid
Further evidence that the new "pro" name is terrible
Least deaths and most DPM for Ronin
what does it all mean???
Venues will be looked into shortly, then we can start working on dates, update by the end of the week!
What do you mean share?
I actually bought Modal Soul + 2nd Collections Hydeout Productions, (both from Nujabes) love them both.
Feather is the best rap, and the jazz hip hop fusion has been all I've listened to for the past 2 weeks.
CaydaI was looking into doing something like this, so yes, I'd absolutely attend a VA/DC LAN. Do you mean Annandale, VA? Because I can't find an Allendale anywhere on the map.
I'm not sure what venues you are looking at, but I've talked pretty extensively with the staff at The Cave in Fairfax, VA about holding a TF2 event. They have ~70 solidly-specced PCs with 144hz monitors, so no one would have to bring a PC. If you're interested in checking them out for hosting your event, I can give you the info they e-mailed me.
The Cave was out of the price range for renting the space. And yes, it was Annandale, VA. I'm stupid
Lots of people benefit economically from holidays, it creates communities (though not always beneficial) and unity. There's not too much sanctity to holidays as it stands religiously I feel.
UPDATE 4/7: Google Survey is up, please fill out if you are interested in attending!

ORIGINAL POST:
Ayo, I got a friend who wants to put together a hangout/tournament similar to Florida LAN or Windy City Rendezvous. The venue hasn't been talked to but it'd probably be in Annandale, VA (the two options being looked at are both here). It'd probably be super cheap to get several dozen gamers to play a TF2 LAN at either of these venues, but before any of that groundwork can be made, I'd like to know if people would be interested in coming for a Saturday LAN starting some time around or before noon and running until late that night (tournament, pick up games, whatever).
There is potential for a tournament/pug-style whathaveyou with a prize pool (very generous prize pool I might add), so that's a nice incentive. Would anyone be interested in coming to this? If we get a general idea, we can start putting together some numbers for the venue and see what we can work out. We can discuss convenient dates (June, July, Aug) here as well if there seems to be enough support, then put together an actual registration.
But for now, just let me know here if you'd be down to travel. I live in SoFlo, but I'd make the trip out here for a weekend if we get enough gamers.
tbh with this beta, it's gotta be releasing before summer. I'm thinking May 24
