KarlI think you misread my post. I said "ESEA has the infrastructure as a league to facilitate growth" which means that should tf2 grow with the coming MM update ESEA is an established league that could facilitate tf2s growth.
In-game matchmaking was on the horizon in Valve's talk, which means we have time to find and become part of another league. As I understand it, CEVO is out of the question, but didn't Razer Arena do something recently?
KarlESEA has the infrastructure as a league to facilitate growth and it gives tf2 a little more visibility.
What visibility has ESEA given TF2 to non-ESEA players, what growth? We had to rally people to talk to UGC players to sign up, it's us who are promoting the comp scene and the growth, ESEA has just been the most available tool with Prize Pool incentives, but every other reason ESEA has to offer is really not that incentivizing.
icTus hit 'em up with a tryout
It's been hashed up time and time again, but we seriously need a new league to seriously compete in. This nonsense of no-lan-incentive on top of copious amounts of premium fees on top of league fees on top of client issues on top of overall sketchiness shouldn't be the staple of the high-level competitive scene.
Why does a Lower Bracket Final become a Best of 1 map, on a randomizer? Is this what $5 Club signed up for?
It usually peaks because of the item economy, i.e. Smissmas, Halloween Fortress, this recent change was probably because of contracts and weapon skins, probably not because of the long-term promise of matchmaking.
But when that comes, we'll see a nice growth of people who want more than pubs.
Those are the best Tetris players in the world fyi. They gave a bunch of stats about The Grandmaster Tetris 3 during AGDQ, which I think was their debut, and things about getting the ultimate Grandmaster rank. You're gonna see some insane stuff in TGM3, TGM2 was just foreplay
Lange did you have something to do with the stream overlay???
I'd like to say that the frags were nice, but the intro made no sense in so many ways.
I looked carefully enough at the intro clips to see that there are clips for Process Choke, Viaduct Middle, Process Middle, Snakewater Last, Granary Middle, Gullywash Middle; yet none of these were in the frag clips. If you're gonna have an introductory "slow-pan" of all the action, I'd at least expect the intro clips to be in the frag clips as well.
Otherwise, the dark dreams looks much better than dreams.
Had a casual 2v2 bball mge session for like an hour and a half, reminded me of how fun the game can be when you're just chillin'.
Looking forward to a great tourney, and potentially a full-fledged season!
These guys are solid players that constantly improve, and are very pleasant in the mumble atmosphere. Also fun gamers outside of TF2. They can fit well with a decent combo and make playoffs no problem
That's not a very useful script in my opinion, but if you're just using it to constantly spam +attack, just type +attack in console and set your adv. options to not keep healing. I'm pretty sure when you look at someone else, it will immediately +attack on their model and heal them. Ubers are gonna have to be manual of course.
