i dont know about promod but maybe an earlier build of TF2 could get popular, not only for comp community but for everyone the way things are looking.

original if you want to do crack shot shenanigans or rocket jump from a left wall more easily
i hate the sound tho
making decent matchmaking is an art, you have to plan every detail for months, only took 6 to put adjustable ping limit

Street Fighter 3rd strike is pretty dam complex if u get to a high level, getting the execution 100% and predictions
SF4 and 5 are super slow tho
Found out there is a tool that allows you to benchmark DNS servers so that you know wich ones are fastest for you !
If you dont know, the Domain Name Service is what tells your browser where to take you when you type www.google.com or other URLs in your browser.
The application is called DNS Benchmark and it only takes a minute or two to measure the fastest DNS server for you. You just open, go to "Nameservers" - > click "Run Benchmark" and wait for results
You can easily see how to change your DNS server following a step-by-step guide
Hope you like it!
check monitor or graphics card driver for the option
XenThePybrosage78CRTs are like free and they give better quality colors than 90% of modern screens
also they accept any low resolution you throw at em without making it look as bad as a non-native resolution looks on modern displays
What about eye strain? I looked at CRTs previously and people say they cause a lot of eye strain, and I can feel it with my regular monitor already.
its definatelly different than a normal monitor
i dont feel any eye strain using refresh rate of 75 Hz , some people need a bit more
75 Hz or 85 Hz is usually the default
if you use 1024x768 you can get to 100 Hz or more in most consumer CRTs

rip privacy
inb4 they say the whole "if ur not doing anything bad u shouldnt care ;)))"
AMD is good value but lacks single-threaded performance wich can be useful for shitty unoptimized engines (TF2 or old games that only use one core)
I dont know if its bullshit but i remember running stock Unity and playing TF2 on fullscreen, and getting some crazy input lag / overhead.
maybe they changed it since then but i wouldnt personally recommend a bloated DE anyway just to see a few "cool" 3d effects anyway.
dark_overlord1337Disabling CPU powersaving also might help (setting CPU frequency scaling governor to "performance" instead of default).
and using governor "performance":
great tip ! this worked in my laptop making the average clockspeed higher on the "performance" mode but it still varies (480 MHz to 2.16 GHz on intel N3050)
do you know how to make it fixed?
Tommyin my experience, the -dxlevel flag actually does change visual settings
also you can disable compositing on kde at least, which improves fps. But it's still better to use xfce or somethings like that.
Ive tried using -dxlevel 81 but it didnt show any apparent difference from stock and still showed "mat_dxlevel 90" on console
Are you sure you tried that on the linux version and not on the windows version running under wine in linux?
