ill watch ur demo on stream tomorrow
how the fuck is he teamless
capn can you add me you can hang out with me tambo and tatuwah if you like :D
Ok, im not tryna be a asshole but in the discord we all said this idea was not good. What was the point of bringing here when people already disagreed 6 hours ago
XenThePybrohow does one improve their movement without grinding mge/soapdm?
During the off-season of S22 I decided to play a bunch of PugChamp. It's not perfect 6's in a sense but I was able to practice movement and aim in-game vs actual players. That's in my opinion the best way to practice. Serious PugChamps or in house pugs.
Segnohow do you cope with your team having bad rotations as a pocket scout
e: convincing them to not rotate badly isn't an option
Well if your team does not want to rotate and ur playing combo scout and they way you wrote it, it seems that EX: you are sitting choke on your 2nd on process and your team notices the combo pushing. Ur best bet is to try to scout speed your medic away asap. Iv'e never had a big issue with any team I played on. Just try to keep ur med alive if your team fails to rotate.
He seems super willing to try anything, I feel he has more drive to play this game than others. Give em a shot.
I'm not the best player on the planet. I am playing my 1st season of invite this season. If you need help in scout related issues just post demos here and ill watch them on stream.
I rang demo for dishsoap and I was really impressed with how he played.
ESEA SEASON 24 IM TOP 8 PRE-SEASON RANKINGS (all of these predictions are all opinion based)
I'm leaving teams out that are missing more than 1 player...
#1 Team Skull
Scouts: catface, phlps
Pocket: goldfish
Roamer: kryptonite
Demo: rikachu
Medic: screwb
This team has players who won IM from season 22 and have players who were the runner ups in season 23. Goldfish, Rikachu and Phlps have invite experience and both are very strong combo players. Catface and Phlps as a scout combo both have very good DM and play TF2 very well. Kryptonite is in my opinion is underrated and can easily hold his own in top IM. I see this team not losing this season and taking 1st place quite easily.
#2 lil vaatis thotties
Scouts: naterivers, ?
Pocket: megawac
Roamer: sidewayswhoopiegoldberg
Demo: vaati
Medic: maev
This team well could be the 2nd best team this season in the top 8 if they pick up another solid scout for this season. Nate played very very well in S22 playoffs for megawac me off and I expect him to tear up this season pretty easily. Megawac, vaati, and maev all played with each other in S22 and they all player super well and bringing back that core combo must be nice for them all know how one another plays. Sideways is also a very talented player and should put good numbers up this season. Although I put them in 2nd that could very easily change with the other teams this season.
#3 Muscle March
Scouts: dippidy, ed
Pocket: odb
Roamer: tojo
Demo: safrix
Medic: drake
This team has I feel is a wild card this season they could make round 2 or get knocked out earlier than I expect. Dippidy is RAPIDLY improving during the off season and Ed is also a fantastic player and should be able to work great with this line up. Odb is a insane demo but also puts great numbers up as pocket and I can easily see this team turning heads this season. Tojo is someone who I did not expect to get picked up but he's been doing really well so far from what I herd I feel this is the season for him to turn some heads and really make it far. Safrix
#4/5/6 waddle r us
Scouts: air, keith
Pocket: shiki
Roamer: maelstrom
Demo: max
Medic: tiptoes
This team i'm really banking on taking 4th but it will be EXTREMELY close with catnoises. Keith and Air are two solid players who have strong DM and can hold their own. Keith being a smart player can aid with calling and has very smart positioning. Max is a very strong demo. After leaving The Sparkle Gang I feel this is a team that can fit his play style a bit more because Max plays very aggressive. Shiki just came back from quitting this game and this is what draws me from making this team not higher than Muscle March, I do feel once he keeps playing in the start of the season he should be back in the grove and putting up stats like he used to. Maelstrom is a fantastic roamer, after playing with strolling astronomers in invite last season. He's super smart and has amazing DM. This team could get shaken around from teams this season as I see not a big gap in skill except from Team Skull.
#4/5/6 catnoises
Scouts: percy, bo4r
Pocket: ?
Roamer: daffodil
Demo: campy
Medic: radeon
Catnoises could very easily see 2nd round or get knocked out in round one. Teams 4-6th are so close in skill it's really hard to pick a spot for them. Percy and Bo4r and very good scouts with both of them being stupid good at snipeing. Campy is 100% in my opinion one of the best demos this season. Campy plays super smart and fails to put bad stats out. Daffodil played for a bit on EVIL and surprised for the time he spent on the team, I feel he will have a good season. I hope they find a strong pocket to round this team out so they are able to have a strong playoff run.
#4/5/6 The Sparkle Gang
Scouts: spamfest, stochastic
Pocket: split
Roamer: hellbent
Demo: unf
Medic: june
This team is still a toss up for me between teams 4-6 as they all played IM while Split and Hellbent both have invite experience, I just feel this team has a play style that can easily be exploited from the other teams. Spamfest is a very solid scout and Hellbent is a insane roamer and Split is a very smart and level headed player. Unf is here to replace Max, and June swapping to med. This team again can be better than the ones above I just wanna see how they face when the season starts.
#7 The Pound
Scouts: Smilez, ?
Pocket: Blues
Roamer: Zheep
Demo: Morsca
Medic: Brulee
This team should be able to clinch the lower seeds this season. Zheep is not playing scout but is not a bad roamer and Blues is on Pocket and he is not on scout. If Zheep and Blues were scouting it would be a lot better for them but will wait and see if the swap can turn heads. Smilez and Morsca are both returning players and with another strong scout they should do fine and easily hold a playoff spot.
#8 happybois
Scouts: pr, bwelp
Pocket: christie
Roamer: faust
Demo: moxie
Medic: marquee
This team could fall out very easily. Pr and Bwelp are both IM players but I feel there is a decent size skill gap from the other scouts this season. Faust is a player who will most likely be the star player on this team fragging with a 60hz mac computer. Moxie is a very strong demo but may get out shined by the other demoman talent this season. Marquee is a player I don't know much about, but iv'e herd good things so I don't think he'll disappoint.
TEAMS OUTSIDE TOP 8
The Baddies and Hate Being Sober team should jump in once they find their final players to complete their rosters, and Punchline.
Ill work on them tomorrow or the day after thank you for sending catface all the teams.
I feel if Valve is not going to care about competitive 6's and not attempt to lift a finger to help us why would we include more weapons that would just ruin the game that we love. One thing I thought about when this happened last season is people always complained about stalemates and people parking the bus, then we unban weapons that encourage it like rescue ranger or the natasha. I like the whitelist as of now and feel no need to mess with anything this close to the season started. I do like the idea of all leagues using the same whitelist. If Valve will ever give a shit and say "will host a tournament with a $10k prize pot with our rules" then I could see having to work around the weapons and adding more into the game. Just my opinion.
