aim-misspelled words
I can't tell if your misspelling of "fucking" was to get past any "censorship" or if you're genuinely upset at this thread.
aim-People don't like to be censoredwords
wow you found more ways to miss my point than I previously anticipated, also comparing having a website in your steam name to mentioning bombs at an airport is quite something.
aim-words
I think that people think that getting banned for mentioning a website, even in your steam alias, is outrageous. People don't like to be censored, so they rebel against it. Its made even more ironic by tf2center rewarding people for putting #tf2center in their names. A player with #tf2center in their name would never get banned from any other site for that reason.
Of course you could raise the example of advertising a porn website or something but then you'd be completely missing the point.
Edit: ETF2L allow UGC recruitment posts, users with trade.tf in their names aren't banned from backpack.tf and people on pugchamp aren't banned for talking about faceit.com
AptI don't really think this kind of thread needs to be made every time this sort of thing happens, especially given how unsurprising it is at this point.
it keeps the dislike for tf2c going, which i dont see as a bad thing tbh
also the guy probably just wanted to vent
seeing masternoob at i55 walking around like he's really important vs seeing masternoob at i58 alone and miserable was really quite funny tbh
also my flatmate was banned for being my flatmate xD
mustardoverlordScrambledGeel9Discriminating based on the specific service you're being requested to perform is understandable. Discriminating based on the people you are being requested to provide a service to is morally reprehensible.
Sometimes these things overlap, prostitute for example.
we can get into that when prostitution becomes legalized and regulated (which is should be but won't be in the u.s. for a long, long time)
Being a stripper and giving private dances, same idea. Getawhale's example of creating a wedding ring follows a similar train of thought too. Also, these were points made about morality, not legality.

Lowpander games are far more entertaining to watch for the most part. Similar to international events, it gives people a side to support, whether you're a 6s elitist or someone that likes fun.

Stinson_OutFFygIt's actually so strange how much the hl and 6s communities hate eachother. Like both scenes are in the same boat, no reason to seem like shitty toxic communities to any potential new players
I agree, I never understood why people poison the relationship between these two sub-communities. Although I feel like the hate is a one-way-street as 6v6 players seem to be very quick to trashtalk the gamemode and anyone who takes it seriously whereas most (if not all) HL players respect the 6v6 gamemode as a fun one to play and a large percentage of people that consider themselves HL mains participate in the 6s seasons with friends to have a good time.
tbh most if not all hate the 6s community gets from the HL one is targetted specifically at people who trashtalk HL
