MrMinorityI dunno if a similar thing has been done before but I made this
http://youtu.be/sS5B36KsU-g
taking suggestions on the image behind the tape because it kinda feels out of place
Make it look like a messy teenagers room with other tapes on the ground like half life and gmod etc
Are you looking for a mic as well, also, do you have a good soundcard?
Disquse, thank you so much for egg hud i can live happy now
if youre focused on temps and silence, go with the GTX 750 TI from MSi, it never goes above 32 Celsius even when OC'd
Do you have any programs that you can use to track your GPU statistics. Like MSI Afterburner?
--EDIT-- didnt read the beginning. So it has a black screen and you cant even access your desktop?
idk. Is it a quad core or less?
how long has it been since yoive installed that cpu/had the computer
flatlineSo in the past couple of days my TF2 has started using crazy amounts of my CPU. On task manager, even when i'm just staring at a wall, my CPU usage randomly jumps beyond 50%, and I've been noticing 30+ frame drops randomly in firefights. My CPU isn't exactly good but it still had no problem running at 90+ fps even in 6s firefights before.
Is there a fix or is this just normal and I've never noticed it before?
Have you OC'd?
MarxistThe easiest way to do it is just use the IRC to find some scrims, and then if you get some good games, add the leader of that team, or if you have a good match do the same, and just scrim that team over and over and over and over and over and over again. Then get a 2nd or 3rd choice in case that other team does other stuff some nights. I remember when I was first starting out, we scrimmed Rays' team at least twice a week if I remember correctly, we played each other constantly lol.
Eventually your scrim buddies will die or get way better than you, or you'll surpass them, and then you'll need to find new buddies.
IRC is actually a joke. People will just say stuff like looking for low open scrims, just to troll and offclass to mid and shit. The best way to do it IMO is to, if you had a close match add the leader and schedule scrims that way. And to also see what teams have relatively the same scores on esea and add them up.
On the topic of low-open im making a new team and are mainly looking for scouts. Add me B)
KevinIsPwnkounterpartsKind of off-topic but is there a sort of P-Rec for mumble, it would be helpful when doing demo reviews and such? The built-in recording function is really intuitive, I don't think a separate took would be too necessary.
I meant a automatic recording, but I assume that I can just do manually, thanks for the response though!

EDIT: Also, Im having issues gettting transparent viewmodels to work. I just doesnt work, no white screen, and I cant seem to find where the Hud Player Status is in the Hudlayout.res files. help pls
