wany day now guys
here's a new clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSxLUJF4OXA
x6's success as a team was a big departure from what kinds of players/teams were winning and dominating in invite
from my perspective as a scout player vhalin was really influencial and essentially created a strong scout playstyle whose impact was way outsized compared to the player's dm
harb came up with the viaduct cliff hold during an esea lan (maybe grand finals too) and that caught on and became popular for the rest of the time i played tf2
sad that the leafs made it past the first round but excited to see vegas lose.
when my cousin played in the khl maurice was his coach and from the things ive heard im not surprised panthers are in the finals. guy is a beloved and effective coach behind a strong team on a hot streak
decided to pull a story from the stream before i leave, let me know what you guys think and if it's something you'd want to hear the full episode of:
DeadFXsquidwill be uploaded in september. see you then!why so far? is there a reason?
wish we could get it uploaded sooner but im going on vacation in a couple days and wont have a chance to start editing until end of august
thanks for all the suggestions everyone. we recorded last night and the episode will be uploaded in september. see you then!
recording this week.
questions, prompts, topics, and willingness to appear as a guest for first or future episodes are all welcome in this thread!
untamedhttps://www.teamfortress.tv/54246/bts-tf2-insanity hmm...
just read this such a good thread lmfao
tragicI remember when I cut Alfa back in the day. Looks like things haven't changed with that guy.
damn..
went to lan with AG, i don't think we knew if we were going to make lan until the end of the season, but we had a great sponsor who covered our stuff IIRC. we came fourth and our canadian players netted a few hundred dollars.
next lan, went with mixup, knew we were going to lan from the start of the season, we ended up winning, net loss of money thanks to the canadian flight prices and gratuitous in-n-out dining
ihorI received a summons to the draft board, if I never come back then know that it was fun to play tf2 with all of you for all these many years.
peace to you and your homes.
we are all praying for a swift and peaceful end to conflict, may the powers that be keep you safe and duly reckon this terror and loss with Putin and the rest of those responsible.
mustardoverlord contributing to explains the jacked ratings , no bigger fraud. queue the big post from a non-invite player who “learned about the game” watching the rest of us actually play.
shoutout to the (many) invite players who earned a place in this games history, list or not, and happy new year!
lucrative
Hard agree with everything except carnage actually entirely changed how scout was played in this game, even more so than those listed. They did a similar thing but carnage entering this game was truly the biggest meta shift of all time imo. No one played an in your face scout until he came around
agree with this.
definitely only drawing on my own experience for my post, i played when all the players listed + carnage played, but i never really thought to myself 'id love to play like he does'. his contributions were a little more conceptual in showing how scout could be played (popularizing 104 damage scattershots for example lol) and it was probably just a bit before my time.
yz clock danteh and omar were the big play scouts i always looked up to (and strangely early on a player whose name i cant remember on AG whose forum name was 'imblind'. proly cause he was canadian)
anyways grats to the mixup boys who broke top 50 8)
enigma not top 10 (would easily argue top 3 for contributions to his class, let alone the game) no anonemouse danteh moose arcticjoe omar oov (weeble?), i got rated below decimate (phenomenal player but is it pug or league career?) vhalin 90. scout knowers only i guess.
not as related to rankings but yz clock enigma ruwin vhalin created the foundation for playing scout. everyone else is just building on their stuff,
also no sweater is a sad for sure.
