#15 Team Immunity vs Kuso Scout , Want to see a match? in TF2 General Discussion
JasI can assure you, as a Australian, do not under-estimate the retardness of Australian routing. Sometimes my packets to Melbourne (1 state away) will get routed through to Adelaide (imagine you want to play on a NY server and you're in NJ but your packet does a round trip to Houston first).

International routing is an even bigger joke.

Thank you for saving me the Google Maps trip and also for making me remember I'm literally retarded when it comes to geography.

RadmanIt naive to think the comp tf2 community is big enough to spread anything that quickly.

#10 Looking for feedback from (prospective) editors and such. in TF2 General Discussion

Thanks for the input, people. I suppose I might have targeted this improperly: I'd imagine the goal would be to make editing easier for less experienced players, who don't really want to spend a lot of time editing but do want to get stuff out there with their own little touches. Maybe I shouldn't have asked for editors in the first post :P

Still, I appreciate everyone taking their time to respond!

GeknaiirAlso, I think it's pretty weird to ask us what we would pay. I would assume how much we're willing to pay for said tool would be based on the quality of it.

What I'm looking for is what the ideal, easy-to-use recording tool looks like in your opinion, and how much you would value it at. The assumption we're going off of is that anything more than $50 might be asking too much for the average user (I've been pushing that as my maximum).

The goal is to provide a good solution to recording clips that are all-in-one, so you can record and edit without having to use a whole tool chain.

Thanks for your feedback guys!

#1 Scout/Soldier/Demo | Low IM in Recruitment (looking for team)

Heya dudes. Lately my team has been kind of floundering; people can't make scrims, and when we do have them they feel kind of mindless. Anyway, it's not really working out for me and I'd like to poke around and see who wants me.

I've been around for a while, so I'm sure a lot of you know me by now. I can play pretty much any class; I'd like to think my soldier/demo are at a low IM level, while my scouting is probably a notch above that; I'm sure other people have other opinions and that's cool too.

I'm mostly looking for a team that's good and getting better; a mid IM team would be great, but as long as you have good cohesion and want to improve every night then I'm interested.

Also, my friends list is regularly full, but I'm gonna try to make some room tonight. Thanks for reading and have a good day!

#7 Multiple Sessions in Site Discussion
DarkNecridThink that's just how Steam's thing works, you would probably have the same problem with TF2Lobby, UGC forums, and anything else that uses it.

Not quite how it works; enigma (at least if I remember from our conversation correctly) currently creates a new session each time you log in, which means you lose your old sessions when you sign in somewhere new.

When you sign in through Steam, all that happens is Steam tells TF.TV (or whatever other site) that you're a valid user and gives the site any information it feels like providing; once you get confirmation that the user is valid, you generally don't need to have them sign in again for a long while, because you can assume that if they were able to log in today, they can log in again tomorrow.
