SetsulSet up a simple wireless network on any of the computers. .
How can I do this? When I search this up, the only results are about hotspots.
edit: on Windows 10
Stepanextoads_tf.
The way I understand it is that you want to set up a server with sv_lan 1 and then gather up people irl to connect to wifi hotspot from your phone through which they will connect to the setup server. Which imo should work without the need of internet access. I have notebook lying around that I have not yet installed tf2 on, so I will do that, test it for you and write here asap.
Thanks. I tried setting a wifi hotspot on my laptop with MyWifiHotspot or something, and people were able to connect to the network yet games on lan didnt work. I say this because I'm at a hotel with friends and we'd like to have a lan party in the lobby at night-- no ethernet cables on us lol. No idea how else I'd get it working off my laptop or phone
so not only would it not work with sv_lan 1 but it would also cost a load? even without using the internet?
Does anyone know if running a WiFi hotspot off of a phone allows for people connected to it to play on LAN? If so, would it use data, even if the people on it aren't accessing the internet, just playing games on LAN?

the301stspartanReerowhymeoi mean if u ignore all the people who have lost jobs/job opportunities for being racist, or the kids who got kicked out of harvard for being racist/sexist then yeah ur completely correct.All_Over_RSthe prospect of an angry anonymous internet mob of 'justice' ruining someones' and their family's/friends' lives =/= consequences for being a racist asshole.
If you really think someone's life is going to be ruined for being a racist prick in the United States you're living in a different world than I am.
FOH
On a more serious note however. I personally think the guy is a pos who deserves to be punished, however I do not think punishment is right or justified. The guy has his opinions, no matter how vile they may be, and he shouldn't have to deal with an angry mob following him around either on the internet or real life, and have to risk losing job opportunities (or education opportunities if hes young). This sense of vigilante justice ruins lives, and its unfair for anyone to go through it because of their opinions. I really don't like the idea of a big, rich, powerful, and influential media service bullying one person because they happen to have shitty opinions. It just shows how CNN doesn't care about anyone and only care about the money that a juicy story about Donald Trump's Twitter feed will net them.
One more thing: I personally think there would be a lot more outrage over this if Breitbart or Fox News did the same thing to a "crazy SJW" or whatever.
Dude wtf are you on about? Distributing the truth has zero to do with vigilante justice. If CNN had given out all the publicly available information of the person, which they haven't, it wouldn't have in any way made them responsible for what any crazy motherfuckers do with that information . It's news, it's their job. Everything you post online about yourself is something you consciously agreed to share with potentially the entire world. Increasing the number of people aware of your public statements is okay for anyone to do without even giving a reason. Feel free to share this post with everyone who'd like to read it, because if I didn't want people to read it, I wouldn't have posted. If someone decides to hire a hitman because they disagree with my post, it's not on you.
if you think going on exposing people/threatening to expose them over troll reddit posts is news you're retarded
dae ruin someone bc they sed mean wacis things on internet xD
