the jedi code is about not being ruled by your emotions and using rational thought instead, that does fight against human nature, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. saying thats as bad as literally being ruled by emotion and lust for power is retarded
in the extended universe luke makes it so jedi can have a wife and children and what not which makes alot more sense considering the ridget rules against relationships is what caused anakin to become vader
actually, i'd wager anakin turned into vader because he saw no difference between the light side and dark side of the force, i'm going to reference EP III for why i believe this is the case
right after anakin kills dooku, palpatine tells anakin that dooku was "too dangerous to be kept alive"
when windu was about to kill palpatine, he tells anakin that palpatine is "too dangerous to be kept alive"
both times anakin replies by saying "it's not the jedi way"
all anakin has going for himself in these movies is "the jedi way", and when windu ignores the "jedi way" to kill palpatine, anakin realizes that the only difference between the jedi and sith is a certain point of view
from his point of view the jedi are evil though
