#10 p-rec updated in TF2 General Discussion

I'm pretty sure there was an update to the ESEA client like a year ago that made it automatically disable plugins.

Also, hooray!

#41 FITES 2013 - Feb 22-24 in LAN Discussion

OK so Mechanicsburg is actually only 3 hours away so that makes this much more plausible. If I can get a group of friends to go I'll be going 100%.

I would love to go to this(and Pittco) but driving 7 hours all alone kind of sucks. Would it be possible to get a list of people attending the event?

#4 Potentially looking for a new mouse in Hardware

Unless the angle snapping is seriously intrusive, I doubt it will effect your aim much. I used a Zowie EC1 for a while and didn't ever notice angle snapping in game.

#6 modmic alternatives? in Hardware

I read somewhere that Deal Extreme can take a long time to ship things, like a month or so. Having said that, it looks like a sick budget combo since I also read in the same thread that their clip on mic sounds great(probably the same mic).

#7 Windows 7 120Hz Help in Hardware

Well that's for DVI and HDMI, I'm assuming your CRT connects with a DB15/VGA/whatever it's called connector. I could be wrong, but I would check that real quick.

#3 modmic alternatives? in Hardware

The modmic is waaay better than the zalman clip on mic(granted it costs a lot more, but 30 bucks isn't exactly a lot of money) so if you're on the fence for the modmic, just get it and wait. Desktop mics can be fine for some people, but they pick up more background noise than something close to your face like a headset mic or the modmic.

Here's a comparison of the zalman vs the modmic in case you were wondering(I don't have a desktop mic to complete the trio of normal candidates).

#10 earbuds in Hardware

Before you go making any headphones purchases, consult this categorized buying guide and this GIANT IEM guide.

When you're looking at the second link, scroll to the bottom and find this chart. Scroll down the chart until you see a price you're willing to pay, then hit CTRL + F and type the name of the product in question. Read it's review, read the reviews of other similar headphones in it's price range, yada yada yada.
