if you look at your medic you can see their charge anyway; I don't see this being game-breaking

con_filter_enable 1and
con_filter_text_out "[text]", so for you it'd be
con_filter_text_out "No caption"

Pretty sure this mainly applies to the whip, hitreg on that thing has always been bad when hitting teammates
First thing I thought of when I saw this is hitting teammates with the Boston Basher. Not sure if this update makes that harder or easier to do now, though.
