Snazaimreillyphobiawhats a hostelLike a hotel but notA motel*
Not at all. Hostels are cheap CHEAP places for travellers to stay. Quite often only being around $10 - $20 per night.

I thought that's what a motel was too.

#3 music player I can use with my ipod in Off Topic

I'm reluctant to download a Foobar installer from a different site, for understandable reasons. I wish they didn't just abandon support for all previous versions and make them unavailable. When it comes to coding something people should know better. Imagine if video card drivers were like that

#1 music player I can use with my ipod in Off Topic

The latest version of last.fm causes an unfixable crash with the version of iTunes I use. I refuse to update iTunes any more, every version is considerably worse than the last. I apparently can't get the old last.fm scrobbler back. I want to be able to scrobble the music I listen to on my computer, and to sync my iPod (Classic, if it matters). I also don't scrobble my ipod, just the music on my computer. I need to have my library accessible through whatever music player I use, and preferably the ability to throw together playlists easily.

I tried foobar2000 on a recommendation but the installer they have on their site right now is busted, at least for my system. It refuses to install a necessary component, making the program impossible to launch/use.

Are there any good alternatives available? I'm not going to use WMP and I'm not interested in some obscure program that gets no support.

Thanks

#14 Magicka and Windows 8 in Off Topic

I found when I recently reinstalled it, one of the required application dongles didn't install properly (not directx, something similar though). I had to navigate to the folder and manually run it. Don't know if that's the same problem at all

#16 PUG.NA vs Lobbies in TF2 General Discussion

Lobbies are pretty much only good for fucking around and maybe practicing your rollouts and DM skill. I use them instead of pubs.

The best way to practice, as mentioned before, is to get a team together - even if your team loses every game, playing with the same group + working on comms and strategy is the best way to get effective at 6v6.

tf2.pug was better than tf2mix, IMO, because they actually had chicago servers, but when the latter started up it completely killed off the former
