polar is the nicest guy in the world, is super dedicated to improving, and will take any criticism seriously and work on it for, and in, the very next scrim (as well as keep it in mind over the course of the season). He asks smart questions. It will be amazing - and frightening - to see what he's capable of in IM with a little help from a veteran of the game. :)

This group has been together in some form or another since time immemorial, and they've been on a steady upward trajectory with every passing season - they just keep getting better and better. Differ is a phenomenal team leader and a great medic. The team as a whole is extremely coordinated, dedicated, and is bursting at the seams with natural born fraggers. They're also sweethearts, so at the bear minimum you should try out for them. You're in for nothing but a good time.
MenachemGetting 504s for pugs and mix.
As for upgrading infrastructure, is there a donate button?

you rock, cornpop :)
We scrimmed this team a ton this season, and they've improved steadily as time has gone on. They're really friendly, talented, and levelheaded players who are on a steady upward trajectory. :] Hit them up for some good tryouts.
Hearts has the most infuriating pipes ever. Very good demo.
Are you going to have a roommate/roommates? If you are, you should make sure to contact them so you can figure out who's bringing what - showing up with 2 mini-fridges isn't really necessary, although I knew roomie pairs who would stack one on top of the other.
Some things I'd recommend that might fall under the radar in your first year include ibuprofen, polysporin, an extra set of sheets (even if you do your laundry on the regular, and particularly if you're sharing your room, you may find yourself with a sudden need for clean bedding), a garbage can with a lid, and a good thermos/water bottle.
Speaking of laundry, I suggest you get one of those mesh bags with a cord - you'll save a lot of space compared to a full-size laundry basket, and it will be easier to cart to the laundry room provided you're not one of the Chosen Ones who lives on the same floor as the laundry unit in your dorm.
For my first two years of school I had a standard dry erase board and markers, but then I discovered a poster-sized dry erase calendar, and that thing was incredible.
And finally, no dorm room is complete without this guy:

Good luck with your first year! :)
Excellent scout and friendly to boot. :)
not looking! thanks for the tryouts and comments :)
hello! I'm not too sure about my team status for s23 right now, so feel free to hit me up with medic tryouts in the high open-ish sphere. :]
s20: we love randal - 8-8
s21: that's so randal - 9-7
s22: wut dude - 10-6, 0-1

gg Westbrook, probably the most fun I've had this season!
also, that was the first time I've seen a full 12 person wipe on mid
