#108 ESEA S20 Playoffs: froyotech vs. Team SoloUber in Matches

I feel like granary pro being tossed next map vote is suddenly very likely

I'm sort of amazed at how well froyo is still composed in-game considering how often their team seems to be imploding w/ each other recently

one of their teammates quite literally quit mid-set and they're still close to winning. how

idk why I vaguely recalled him being canadian

still, cyzer's a good story should TF2 ever get big. he's been around for all of TF2, and he's still invite-level through it

PendjiI'm sure the game itself isn't bad, I just don't have much interest in these low effort 'games'. Imagine the exact same concept, but in a 3D world with cartoony graphics and having all the visuals to go along with the character development; it'd be a million times better. Guess that's what game developing has come to these days.

a fully fledged game costs a lot of money, far more than people want to realize. when skullgirls had an indiegogo campaign for new characters, the devs explained in full detail where all the money would go into, and even openly admitted they had to be willing to live under a pretty terrible wage overall when working on it, but people complained regardless that it was somehow "too much for a 2D game"

this, on the flipside, is a free VN with some easily re-usable assets, which is much easier for a novice game dev to cheaply work within

SideshowNusemanPlaying this map is gonna be so weird if these stay as the calls that people use.
I would just love it if comp.tf has to label an area of a map jehohanan

canonical explanation: all areas in reckoner have codenames, as named by the person who built it in-lore. ergo, all of these names would then be woven into a group of cynical yet endearing builders obsessed with screwing each other over so they can just name the whole map after themselves

I'm making up a plot synopsis for terrible comms in an alpha map, I'm going to bed

sideshow's comm names for areas in cp_reckoner should all be the official names tbh

this is the one I have right now, absolutely amazing and well worth 175

keep in mind how you have to get the price cut tho, at best you still have to pay 225 to start. rebates can be pretty shit to deal with

flameand it just means you need to have your phone with you when youre at the computer.

1) even a mild skim through reddit is showing a whole lot of people who either don't have a phone, or have a phone that can't use the steam app
2) this isn't taking into account trading websites, which, if what geel is saying is correct, will require a unique phone # for every single bot they have

#19 TF2 players = rich? in Esports
GetawhaleThe almost $6,000 is also since 2013, so I'm not sure this table means too much for each individual

6000 in winnings over the course of two years still isn't even remotely livable, is my point

even in successful competitive games, until you're a consistent #1 in the world you're not getting paid much just through tournament winnings. it's why most players who are all in on playing games for a living have to stream every day and make consistent youtube videos, the best you can do is to have a lot of income sources that eventually add up

fightmy phone doesn't support steam :<

this would be like 6000000% better if you could use email verification for it, and everyone has/can get an email and have it work so why doesn't steam use that

only way it's not just as safe is if you use the same password for everything which is a bigger issue anyways

steam trading already uses email verification, and it does its job pretty well last I checked

I feel as if this is just valve's way of easily gutting third-party markets, since I highly doubt this will change its internal community market at all

b4nny is the highest off that list and he makes money off of streaming, sponsorships and whatnot

also something I figured out yesterday was that anyone can get on top of that half-oval shed area on second:

https://gfycat.com/GlisteningShabbyDorking (using a heavy just to get the point across, you can also just slide up it with most faster classes)

I really don't know why that clip is there with no actual props in place for it
