He's asking which effects obscure/distract from the head hitbox most.

KanecoQuartz this should be a great addition to the next version

Did you even try using the HUD? It's already been added.
BenroadsI really dislike loud keyboards so that would be my main aversion to a mechanical keyboard. I don't know anything about switches so I don't know what ones would be good and not overly loud.
Most of the noise comes from bottoming out the keys (they register as being pressed around halfway down), which you can avoid by not pressing the keys all the way down, or buying o-rings which go underneath the key caps and make them quieter when you bottom out.
If you just google cherry mx switches you can read about all the different types. If you get reds with o-rings they'd be pretty damn quiet, iirc browns and blacks are quiet too.
He could probably jack the price up if he said he would only make a limited number.
Although a breakdown of these numbers would be nice, I feel like this sufficiently conveys the fact they're not desperate for money:
shadeIf you do not feel like these donation incentives are relevant to you, do not feel obligated to donate anyway. We realize the amount we're asking for is still considerably more than what other teams may ask for ($0), so this donation drive is not a "you should help us get to LAN", but rather "if you are interested in any of the donation incentives and want to support us in return, then consider donating".
They don't need your money, and they've made that pretty clear, so if you don't feel like donating don't.
IatginkDoes anyone know why when I change to 1280 x 768 this happens:

Looks like you're not setting the xpos relative to the center of the screen (c-#).

so much
and yahud is so much like garm3n's, etc.
The scramble system is there so people don't get fatkidded twice in a row. Although random teams may not be the best idea, the whole having limited slots thing should stay.
You could change normal mode to have captain picking, and have the people with the most games added be forced to captain if no one adds as one by the time there's 12 people ready. In the case they don't know what they're doing, it's pretty much the equivalent of a bad scramble.
Honestly though I don't think it's really worth the effort, if you solve the active admins problem then there will probably be someone there who can force a scramble if it's really bad.

Regarding the idea of a specific channel for middle players... I am not sure if there would be enough competitive players to have a channel dedicated to middle players. Plus, there's a "!surf" command, barely anybody is using it, that thing is for those players who feel unchallenged by normal games, just skip the lower games and wait for the captain games. There's no need for a second channel in my opinion, let alone a third...
The surf requirements are pretty ridiculous (you need a high med %) and as far as I've seen admins haven't been authorizing people to use it (if that's how it works).
I have all my cfg's in tf/cfg and it works fine. It's probably better as far as organization goes to put it in a custom folder, but the location of your files might not be the problem.
Or maybe it is, idk.
