I don't know man, seems way too harsh. I think a temp ban is enough of a slap on the wrist to prevent people from doing that again. Also, you should make it a written rule that exploiting a bug is perma-bannable, so you can perma ban people doing this in the future without anyone giving you shit about it. It's your site, your rules, but you should make them public - even if it's something as obvious as not exploiting a bug.

This is EXTREMELY alarming to me, especially the proximity of snoven gloating about stealing items and starting FTC.
Unless snoven can come forward with some details on things like what items were donated by who, and possibly an anonymous list of donations made, etc.. basically just come out and be SUPER SUPER transparent, give a paper trail, very soon, I would imagine I won't be the only one pulling my support from this event.
I feel the same way. This sucks. :/

tips on avoiding procrastination

gargleburryI've been procrastinating on school more and more and I want to try and avoid it if possible. Does anyone have tips in a way to avoid it? If it takes me prioritizing things differently then ill do it.
I do the vast majority of my studying and homework at my school's library. I have much less trouble concentrating there than I do at home. I'd suggest scheduling an hour or two before, between, or after classes every weekday to hit up the library - treat it as an extra class.
This works for me, hopefully it can help!

You probably just get used to it after a few weeks. Worst case scenario you start gaming less and are forced to do other things.
TLR your desk looks fantastic. I'm definitely going to try and build one after this semester.
