I think there were two simultaneous pugs going on last night. One on Texas and another on Illinois. The servers are decent but they rubber band super bad once every ten minutes or so. I also get a way better connection to Texas than I do to Illinois, which doesn't make any sense since I live in Western NY.
I think there needs to be more admins on the ESEA page or at least more people that can post announcements. If sezco and b4nny aren't starting them, they most likely wont happen since they are the only two that can post announcements.
Hopefully these continue to grow and stay active since the potential is definitely there, but there are a fair amount of kinks that need working out.
I remember I "won" your Payday 2 giveaway (http://teamfortress.tv/thread/20864/payday-2-giveaway). You added me telling me that I won, but your guy or something did have an extra copy at the moment. I didn't mind at all and kinda went on with my own business being a huge nerd. However, within about a one day span you messaged me a ton about random stuff and then eventually started asking me for TF2 items that I didn't want. I wasn't aware I was the one doing the giveaway so I removed you.
So yeah... what's going to happen this time? Judging by your inventory you actually have what you're giving away this time. It's pretty damn cool that you're being generous, but I have a hard time understanding what was going through your mind with my brief encounter with you. I suggest you give the items to the winner this time and not ask them for shit in return since that's not how giveaways work.

SpannzerI personally use the startup sound for Big Picture mode for message notifications; it's nice and smooth so I don't jump about a mile when it's 1am and I get a message while half asleep.
BP sound file: Steam\tenfoot\resource\sounds\activation.wav
Make a copy of it and name it message and stick it in Steam\friends and you're good to go
I tried this and it didn't play a sound at first. I restarted Steam and the file was overwritten with the default noise again. I tried again but made the sound read only, and it worked. Then I restarted Steam and the file was overwritten again.
If it's possible I think you're leaving out an important step!
