don't personally know how big of a difference, if at all, this makes (monitor isn't supported) but people were saying that it was almost as night and day as 60hz -> 120hz was.

i'm not a huge car guy but I was reading on reddit about a shipping option a few dealers do (audi/volvo being two I can think of).
"European Delivery" which means that they will fly you out to somewhere in Europe (I want to say it's in Sweden, but can't remember exactly) for a week. They pay for hotel and everything, all to give you the opportunity to drive the car so it's technically "used". I guess it saves on shipping tax or something.

http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/17cxd9/my_family_and_i_did_the_volvo_european_delivery/ (not the thread I saw initially, but has information on it)
edit: i bought this up because a lot of people I mention this to don't know about it.
edit2: from the reddit thread
No, you have to go to Sweden, or which ever country you're buying from (BMW, Audi and others have something similar). The trick is that import duties on new cars are much higher than for used ones. So instead of picking up a new car in the US, you pick it up in its country of origin, which of course means there aren't any duties on it, drive it around there during your vacation, and after that you only have to pay duties on a used car when it's imported to the US (which the manufacturer handles for you).
i only recognize two people in this thread :(
the301stspartanIf I want a camera, I use a camera.
the specs are all better than my galaxy :( seeing as how it's android, I can flash it and make it identical to my galaxy as well.
edit: what i'm trying to say is why use a camera if I can use my phone for the same result (unless you're some crazy photographer)
so why don't you sue them or something
synchroIf you made it toggleable, it wouldn't have to look too fancy. It would be sweet if you could somehow render the text vertically (sideways), but I doubt it'd be easy.SocialistFishcould it be possible to have the players names floating over their heads?Possible, yes; just look at any ugly TF2 hack on youtube. Making it look nice and not overly distracting? That's tricky.
would be really ugly looking. people with long names would either have to get it cut off, font sized lowered to unreadable levels, or for it to extend above the player model (ugly).
edit: I don't think this looks awful, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGJGkqxl-5o clearly we don't need this much information, just the name would be fine.
oh, oops. didn't mean to put it in the wrong section, usually i'm better at that.

Pretty cool, I'll try it out
http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/browser.php
I did a little research after replying earlier and found this. Looks pretty cool, I used to use the Comodo Firewall and didn't have any complaints. Looks like the browser comes with a free optional VPN (for every application, or just the browser... your choice). It looks like it's just Chrome but edited, similar to what I linked earlier.
Despite transferring over virtually everything from chrome, it seems to be having plugin compatibility issues, as they aren't running. I've only spent five minutes on it so it could very well be that I missed an option somewhere, i'll edit this post with what I find.
edit: I guess you just need to reinstall certain plugins. some work off the bat, others don't :(
FzeroBrohamharbleuThe principle behind the fact that we are still all paying for a service provided by ESEA. It doesn't matter that we aren't effected by it in the slightest. They are a business for god sake man, its low of them to what they did and you should be pissy about it as well.BlueberryVillainIncorrect, TFC thrived for a longtime, there was no LAN for the Platinum division, no money, no prizes, people played for the love of the game. TFC died eventually because it got old, valve stopped supporting it, times changed, and people moved on to other games. TF2s release sealed the fate.sorry but that doesn't sound like a great situation to me. yes tfc may have sustained itself but i doubt it continued to grow. tf2 right now has been slowly but steadily growing over the past couple seasons with it being on the verge of its biggest season yet. if esea were to die that would change.
i don't see why the tf2 community is so up in arms over this. there has been ONE esea match played since the bitcoin thing was added. i highly doubt anybody from tf2 runs the esea client outside of matches so in all probably only 12 people were affected by this. the cs community has every right to be upset about this seeing as they use esea to scrim/pug but we don't. yes it was scummy of them to do but it really had no affect on most tf2 players.
Under that thought, as long as it doesn't affect you directly then it shouldn't matter? What if your internet browser was doing that? Would that bother you? I mean I don't like to use google chrome for selling my information, even though it is better than Firefox
That was to Harbleu

PaalsFzeroPaalsFzeroDid you two even read the whole thread? It's in here and if you read some of reddit you will see it tooIf by "you two" you meant me, I have been going through it sporadically, and have seen numerous links to laws that I am too lazy to click on. I am not a legal expert, so I would have to take someones word on it. It seems that there is a plethora of evidence showing the breaking of Federal Law and very little defending them with their ToS.
If you wont read 7 pages on a thread, you really wouldn't read a whole law
The thread has been open for 20 hours, and has 200 posts. If you expect me, a person who has class, a life (heh), and other things to do to go through and click every link that i see and expect to understand a field which I have no understanding in, I am sorry. I was merely trying to understand what this emmawatson devil's advocate person was doing showing that irrelevant img.
unacceptable.

i'm pretty proud of myself for finding this video again. I've looked for it many many times the past few months, but today remembered a phrase he said in the video and decided to google it. enjoy. video will increase your pussy intake by ten motherfucking fold.
what they should have done was add mining as an opt-in option and claim the money goes back to the league, but end up pocketing it. Add a little extra money into the pot, but it'd be difficult for people to prove that all of the money isn't going into the league. "oh, not many people are opting in" ect
edit: CS players are quite the angry bunch too, shortage of people calling each other "kid" though :p
Rekusoman i miss the old ammomod servers, where there were 5+ people waiting in line to get destroyed by tictac and thenoid
my favorite was when there were only one or two arenas and everybody had to watch the people play, making juggles even more satisfying knowing that half a dozen+ other people saw it.
thrashermanaEvery time they yelled something like "Go back to Poland" or some shit, I would yell "THAT'S RACIST" as childishly as I could. That is incredibly rude of them, having visited some of those lovely countries.
Yeah when we out-loud the CS kids we don't do what they do, we just yell dumb shit like "woo airshot" and shit like that way louder than they could ever hope to be. After a while they just give up and they are silent. At the ATL LAN last summer none of the other guys who yell with me were there and the CS kids were being, well... CS kids. I eventually just started screaming random shit like "woo yeah I'm going to mid" , "health pack baby yeeeah" as loud as I could lol. It got some laughs and shut them up
aha that's awesome; would love to see a video of this next time
