#236 Do you like the song above? in Music, Movies, TV
YankeeTodd Terje

Way outside my normal listening range, not bad though. I was getting pretty bored in the intro thinking it sounded overly simplistic but once it got going it was pretty enjoyable. In the busier parts I really like how all the different background tracks come together to make a really coherent sound even though they sound dissimilar taken individually.

Edit: Rick posted while I was writing this. I can't really do that type of music, the really pounding 4/4 beat and over the top dance-oriented sound drives me up the wall, don't see the appeal in listening to this stuff if you aren't actually out dancing somewhere.

Apparently timecodes don't work for the embed, song I meant to link is Vampire Woman at 43m50s but most of the album is good.

#827 THE GREAT TF.TV CHALLENGE in Off Topic

the weird part is how that reddit account is a middle aged man who has his own practice and spends his free time surfing whereas you use the alias skycaptain95 are pretty clearly in your early 20s at the latest and play video games on steam on weekdays at 3pm regularly

i can kind of see the appeal in getting attention for posting a fake pic but going beyond that to try to pretend you're the other person is pretty weird i dunno

oh and so as to avoid derailing the thread entirely

#101 What is this montrosity in TF2 General Discussion
wafflebI enjoyed watching.

What a coincidence that all the shitty open players can't help but hate on another game.

Anyone hating on this, seriously, open your mind a little. If the game has such a "low skill cap" you should go enter the next tournament and win $400k.

its not really about the skill cap being low obviously if anyone could be good at it there wouldnt be a top end of the scene, its just that taking out the precision aim factor makes it a lot less exciting to watch (well thats the problem with it for me anyway)

positioning, timing, all that stuff is obviously not affected by control schemes but half the reason i like watching pro cs is the ridiculous shots people hit, i've watched some pro cod just to check it out and it seems like its pretty common to see slow motion replays of someone getting sprayed in the knees until they die

i very much doubt i could spray/track with thumbsticks and be anywhere near that accurate but that doesnt mean its as exciting to watch as someone hitting a sick 1deag or acing an eco with 4 sprayed headshots in 1 clip
