i think the reason ppl were annoyed about it is that there were games with fewer players that still had prize pots, it wasn't like they were losing money - all their seats sold out and a tf2 ticket was worth as much to them as a HoN ticket, they should have just put a prize pot proportional to the participants

would like to know if any of u r fide or uscf rated before i invest
interp has literally nothing to do with your ping
higher interp will give you consistently more accurate player positions (and therefore better reg if you're actually aiming at the models on your screen) at the cost of delayed projectiles and a slight delay in seeing enemies when they peek a corner at you (however you have an advantage when peeking against other people as there's a slight delay before seeing you - this is why playing against high ping/interp snipers sucks dick)
lower interp means slightly less delay when being peeked and less-delayed projectiles, however player positions will be less accurate if you drop packets (even a single packet, if you're playing at an interp of 1/cl_updaterate)
generally speaking the only advantage of lower interp that matters is the lower projectile delay which is why soldiers and demos will typically use 1/updaterate and everything hitscan uses 2/updaterate (medic i'd personally use 1/updaterate because of the peeking thing and because hitreg doesnt matter - its pretty negligible in this case though)
if i download this app can i make her dance on shit without their super magical japanese pizza box
kirby#22 You can use 0.0152 with scout, but considering how close 0.033 is to 0.0152, it doesn't really make a difference (plus it's hitscan). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think people still use 0.033 because awhile back when people were figuring this stuff out, they realized that it is a good balance; "just right", so to speak.
33ms lerp is twice 15.2ms lerp it's not close at all. 33ms is used because at 66 tickrate it means that your interpolation time is larger than the time between 3 update packets, so if you drop one update your client still has 2 updates to interpolate with.
Fact of the matter is for 99% of people in this game aim is a bigger issue than hit reg and when ppl complain about bad reg they are usually missing and going off inaccurate sparks or something (turn sparks off u noobs)
its okay oaf i liked your post
i'd cuddle your worm anytime
mobas are inherently more spec-friendly than shooters, the single top-down fixed map is actually a plus that way not a minus
think about irl sports and the perspectives used to watch them, imagine what it would be like if you tried to watch a football game and you could only watch via helmet cams or views where half of the field was randomly obstructed and you couldnt see everything going on, you could catch some really cool moments but it would also be very confusing and you'd miss a lot of the game
stuff like the glow effects through walls improves the experience a bit but the top-down 2d nature of moba is basically designed for optimal speccing
somehow i doubt enigma has an advertising budget for the site
if you haven't already, back up your cfg/resource/scripts/maps directories along with your hitsound and any demos/screenshots you want to keep, then delete the entire team fortress 2 directory
launch the game once which will recreate the basic file structure from the GCFs, copy your custom files back over, then relaunch TF2
not sure if it's causing your specific problem but this always makes my FPS go up noticeably if I haven't done it for a few updates.
mason can you post your team's in-depth analysis of how much mirel hacks i think it's the right moment
dabesthe only scouts i can think of
dante
sonmychest
and they both had top tier competitive experience in other games
yz50/shrugger/omar are the ones I was thinking of
pros to sniper in dm:
people like mgib and bloodsire who get an erection over making headshots and don't actually care about 6s can jerk themselves off while practicing sniper in a situation that it is not used for 99% of the time during an actual 6s match
cons to sniper in dm:
interrupts/distracts people who are actually practicing DM situations that are relevant to most 6s matches
it just feels different its still good
crumpetgood lan
