I think I'll always watch dota2 if EE plays.

EE makes everything fucking hilarious in game and out.
I'm watching the Russian stream because it's 100x more stable than the English stream. This is really fucking sad.
This is their setup too: https://twitter.com/AdekvatTV/status/704875718728093696
Game ends once someone abandons. Fuck this I hope they get penalized.
I'm in. Time to find out how good I am after a 3 year hiatus.
It might not be right but I think anyone planning to be interact with a gaming community should have a thick skin to this shit. If you're deeply affected by random strangers flaming you, you might wanna step away from the computer. The internet in general isn't a "safe space" nor will it ever or should be.

Considering Gabe went out of his way to call him an ass, I really want to see if Valve explains their side of the story. 2GD is ahead now considering he didn't just leave a statement that boiled down to "you're an ass." If he really was just banned for his on-stream commentary I really think Valve is out of touch with the dota scene.
Lets be honest though Valve is absolute shit at communicating with the community though so it'll never happen properly. Still really ridiculous if Gabe made that personal statement about someone he didn't personally oversee.
the301stspartanI haven't seen Larry Page or Mark Zuckerberg calling former employees asses on reddit so far. I also don't know of any head of a major game developer (except molyneux) act that way.
And in interviews, articles and anywhere else I've seen Gaben talk, he always talked in corporate lingo and conducted himself super professionally.
So no, I don't see how this is in any way usual for Valve or Gabe, and seems completely ridiculous if it's all about the person making some weird jokes during the break of a shittily produced dota stream.
Reddit is one of the least professional places and this was really just the "quick" answer to the whole shitty production. We'll find out the whole story, but it's pretty profound if a CEO actually makes a statement like that. I really doubt it's just over some shitty jokes, and we'll at least find out 2GD's side of the story soon. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the production team understand why it happened.
2GD's response incoming (he slept on it too). https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/47sc46/update_from_the_shanghai_major/d0fa52i
How much more of an ass is 2GD over Thorin and Richard Lewis? Like Richard Lewis had his whole twitter baiting loda and choking incident, but being on the chopping block for a while and being called out by Gabe? God fucking damn.
I switched streams after main stream went down for about 2 hours and 2nd stream was delayed or something. I guess they weren't lying when they rejected the Swed caster or whatever one man studio from coming because it'd show how shit they were or actually destroy their network. I really doubt shit happens because of this though because Valve has some bullshit contract with PW.
I've had CE opened plenty of times without attaching to a VAC game, never got VAC banned. Also pretty sure attaching CE into VAC gets you banned almost instantly or used to.
solathe only valve team that listens to top level players and doesnt have a fuckin hard on for statistics is dota 2,
I wouldn't really call IceFrog a "team" since he's the only one who actually balances the game. Pretty sure he looks at statistics very carefully too though (as you should).
foreverI'm very excited to play MM with my new 11 year old valve pub pro friends who main spy, engie and pyro while using computers that let them play at 7 frames per second.
If MMR is actually correlated to skill and tactics, you should be able to carry those games as scout/demo/soldier until you get matched with people who play properly.
