I don't remember a SoCal LAN since LANcryption so many years ago. Nice going.
MarleyMr_Owl—these are all factors we considered when designing the current FOV and will remain sensitive and very open to as testing continues. Hope that helps!
This is the important part of that quote people.
If your biggest/only complaint about Overwatch is the FOV is too small or there is no fov slider, firstly wait till its actually in open beta (which isnt gonna be for months so you can safely assume a lot is gonna change) and see for yourself and then once you've actually played it complain about it until they fix it, which you can also assume blizzard will actually listen complaints from its beta players.
As for the chunky viewmodels presumably a larger FOV will make them less annoying and if that doesnt work kick up a fuss on their fourms once you have played it yourself about being able to adjust the veiwmodel fov until you get a response. If they refuse to do anything then dont play the game.
And while I can understand some of your arguments, declaring you wont even play this game when its so far away from you actually having a chance to play it and there is going to be so much more development done on it seems absurd to me.
TL:DR at least 6 months before open beta, things will change, why not give it a chance before you write it off completely.
Making noise can help change things before it becomes close/open beta.
I'm betting 90% of casual players won't care, and that's their target demographic. The only difference is that Blizzard will probably care about the comp scene like Hearthstone (comp is casual here though) and SC2.
ComangliaYou didn't do any of the advice on taping the cord down or getting a cord bungee did you?
Cause I used a g400 for about 2 years while playing competitively and for the past 7 months have been using it almost daily at my work (I have an office job so it see nearly 40hrs a week of use now). No issues. I have been using a g400s for almost a year now for competitive. No issues.
Everything else you said is perfectly reasonable. I own a couple zowie mice myself some of which have my own nitpick issues sensor get dirty really easy, older/maybe new ones too zowie mice have horrible input latency on LMB and RMB, 1000Hz is really jittery (fixed with newer ones if I recall), and the weird DPI steps.
The fact that you have to do that makes it semi-shit quality. The problems been around since the mx518 but logitech never bothered to fix it.
The grip looks pretty similar. Still don't get why they discontinued the MX518 style with optical sensor (unless the number of RMA's because of their shitty cords was too high). I remember the g5/g500 has the exact same grip but was laser.
Like #2 said, Disk management and format.

ProSkeezFor all of you using uTorrent looking for an alternative, try Tixati. It's super lightweight and works well.
Switched to tixati on my new comp a while back (after using it on a backup comp), like it much better than utorrent.
Wonder what mode this is going to be for.
popcorpWhenever I see a popular Youtuber talking about a new/upcoming game, saying how awesome and cool it is, in other words - Promoting, I keep thinking that the developers paid to him to say that, it's one of the most easiest tricks to attract more players into the game, by promoting your product via someone who is Popular, ofc we can't prove if it was legit or not what Muselk said (unless you can read faces).
I honestly doubt he got paid. If shit got out that a company like Blizzard was bribing players for reviews it'd be really bad and well not worth the risk. It's more like he's trying to capitalize on being the first person out there and hype the game for his future.
The Visuals:
A 1,200 by 1,080 pixel screen in front of each eye, with refresh rates of a blistering 90 frames per second, displays photorealistic imagery that fills your field of vision in all directions, eliminating the jitter common to previous VR technologies and transporting you to another world.
The Audio:
Plug your favorite set of headphones into a jack located on the side of the Developer Edition headset.
Tracking and Room Scale:
A gyrosensor, accelerometer, and laser position sensor combine to precisely track the rotation of your head on both axes to an accuracy of 1/10th of a degree, allowing you to look around the virtual environment naturally. Couple the headset with a pair of Steam VR base stations to track your physical location (in spaces up to 15 feet by 15 feet) – get up and walk around inisde the virtual world!
Custom and Game Controller:
Ergonomic VR game controllers in each hand allow you to use virtual objects and interact with the virtual world. The position of each controller is tracked in space, allowing developers to simulate a wide range of activities and interactions.
I used to eat these noodles uncooked (just crack them and eat). It's awesome.
