It depends on how available such an automation is, whether it actually *breaks* the game's mechanics like the charge turn scripts do, and how difficult what it's doing actually is. A crouch jump bind is totally legitimate, where on the other hand a script that uses wait and actually completes an entire defrag map automatically is pretty bad.
A ctap macro is in some kind of gray zone, because it's hard to do and *can* be very useful but it's not quite the same as having frame perfect bunnyhopping.
visitnigHow is that even remotely close to what you said before?
wareyaAnyone who says that they never use it probably lives a compulsive and boring life (this is actually from my experience with people), and people who do, don't do it just because of their education path.
Making absolute statement is probably one of the most illogical and ignorant way of supporting an argument. That's like me saying if you are bad at tf2, you must be one of the most pathetic human being in the world

Good reading comprehension! My original statement "Anyone who ... probably ..." is semantically equivalent to "People who ... usually ...". So, no way in hell it's absolute. It's also the proper observation to* draw from the experience I've had.

lol wat
think u may b shouldnt have dropped out of school b4 u took some basic logic course
funny you say that because logic is actually my best mental faculty but no, apparently, having the experience that anyone i've met who goes out of their way to say that they never use algebra is also incredibly compulsive and boring, makes me bad at logic
btw homeschooling is a thing
I stopped going to highschool in the middle of 10th grade, going to get my GED soon, no immediate plans for college.
I use algebra at least on a day to day basis, and I have to sit down and work with the numbers on paper around once a week. Anyone who says that they never use it probably lives a compulsive and boring life (this is actually from my experience with people), and people who do, don't do it just because of their education path.
we should have microtranzaction avatars
$5 per month for the privlidge of having a 50x50 icon nera your name!!!
@23: Imagine the confusion when suddenly wrangled sentries from 500 ping engineers can shoot you a full second and a half after you peek around a corner at them, and hitting people they appear to be tracking behind (since they have a constant tracer).
This is actually a proper speedrun instead of TAS, but it's so absurd that I hope it counts as relevant?

these are basically better versions of items the game already has
they're amazing
pls at least add these ones valve
The amount of bigotry in this thread (mostly from outsiders to the drama) is sickening.
Wreathfriendly reminder the wrangler has in-game aim assist
The main reason for this is because sentries aren't/shouldn't be lag compensated
It's still fucking gay though
RadmanThe revision history states that the weapon was given a 10% damage nerf along with a 5% reload nerf two days after it was released, but the actual update history just says there was a 5% reload penalty, and that the weapons description was rewritten. Thats not really much of a nerf, and people were calling it OP for a lot longer than 2 days.
The real problem with the cock mongler is a hidden first-reload penalty, which makes one of Soldier's best things (fire one rocket, reload) significantly worse. It has no niche and harm's Soldier's own specialties.
Nobody should care how you sound, being able to respond to comms is always better than not. Just being in mumble is usually enough though, unless they expect you to maincall.
I was never a fan of the instant weapon switch because of how much it broke railgun combos in QL(might be remembering this completely wrong, even the game, but serversettings?), but i'll give it a shot again
