SplitFrom what I heard from teammates, she cared more about winning scrims/matches (tried to get Invite players to join her UGC team?) than improving with them. She was apparently bad tempered, couldn't handle criticism and whined about odd things (going too fast when healing Scouts on quick-fix??)
Now I did have the chance to coach her during Newbie Mixes, so taking from that experience she appeared more pleasant. Gameplay wise she was fine, was eager to comm and took advice well.
Pretty unfair to post rumors in a LFT thread, especially of a newcomer. Why post anything you didn't witness firsthand?
From playing with cbunz in lobbies, she's an eager, improving med who will do well on a low/mid open team. She is actively trying to improve and she likes to win (is that a bad thing?). I've never seen her rage/whine/complain about anything + she has a cute voice. Pick her up.
Unless it was a 3rd party program (like the remote hijacking flame mentioned) or a phishing link, I don't think Valve will restore your items. I was scammed through a phishing link and they returned my items with a letter saying they only returned my items as a courtesy because it was the first time it happened and that any real money traded with third party programs (like paypal) are outside the scope of Valve and what they can help you with.
takramboyshorts (girl shorts that we all love seeing them in) with Blaze's beautiful face and the caption "He's the only one who makes these drop"
lol
I have some other tricks I use for staying safe at night:
- park in well lit places and if at all possible outside. Parking in an enclosed structure is always dangerous because there are a lot of places to hide (i.e. stairwells) and it's easier for a person to corner you.
- if you have to park in a place you feel unsafe, park near a security camera. Most likely no one is watching it and no one can help you, but just the presence of a camera is a crime deterrent.
- if you feel as though someone is following you, pretend you're getting a phone call and declare where you are loud enough for whoever is following you to hear. Something like "What? Yeah, I'm on the way, I'm just on Jefferson and Western." That way anyone who is considering assaulting you thinks that someone knows your location and that they are expecting you.
- if you don't feel as though you can fake the call, type 911 into your phone and leave it unlocked so you can dial it without looking down if someone approaches you and so that they can hear what is happening.
- if you feel as though is an attack is imminent, try to grab your car keys and have it ready in your hand to use as a weapon.
- never stop/pullover at night for any reason. as fucked up as it is, there are too many stories of people pretending to have car trouble/waving frantically on the side of the road/tailgating to get people to pullover so they can be mugged/assaulted. If you're worried about someone, call the police and have them stop with you.
- if you're a girl, remember that it's easier to have your hair pulled when it's in a ponytail and that it's harder to run away in high heels.
- try not to walk around alone at night for any reason. many colleges campuses offer security programs where you can ask campus security either for a ride somewhere or to walk with you to the parking lot.
I think the number one thing to remember is that avoiding being assaulted will make your life much easier than trying to get out of the situation once you're in it. It seems like a hassle to have a friend walk you to your car, but when you consider the alternatives (murdered/raped/hurt), it's worth the little inconvenience. Stay safe!
fox has strong dm, is a super chill/friendly guy, and fun to play with. He's also good at sniper and the cutest fox i've ever met. :3
I think asteroid is fun. Not every tf2 map has to be geared towards competitive for it to be a good map. I think as a pub map there's enough variation where I don't get bored but some of the hallways are confusing and deadend. Also, the pit in cave doesn't kill you when you fall into it.
ChinGooxoxolaurenOn the website it says there's a newcomer broadcast that explains the plays more (http://www.dota2.com/international/overview/) but I can only find the singular/multicast/playin (?) channels. Does anyone have any information on if that's still happening?twitch.tv/dota2ti_noob

DeathyFanofAngelsI wish navi gave the awp to guardian more... Such a great awper to watch.nip wasn't letting them get a good economy to get guardian an awp. but yea that sucks
But guardiaN was pretty much checked out all of dreamhack...just not doing as well as expected so who knows :\
Navi gave me hope at the very end though when they were going into overtime.
