ScrewballThe kind of games that would be able to use 240hz are mostly CPU bound source engine games and other ancient games where raising the rez won't make any real difference to FPS. Also people do play games that are not as FPS dependent. I like 144+ fps in TF2 but when im playing something like The Witcher 3 i turn up all my settings and play comfortably at 40fps.
If I set Overwatch to low settings I get upwards of 400 FPS consistently, so this is a pretty good use case for that monitor

treetoonI had to move the pre-loading manually to the custom/cfg autoexec, the valve cfg autoexec isn't executing.
if you have an autoexec in your custom folder, it'll automatically override the valve one so it isn't used. Unfortunately there's not an easy way for me to check for this because people name their folders all kinds of shit.

VulcanI don't know any csgo pros who use bot death match as serious practice, maybe for warming up your muscle memory but you could just do the same on tr_newbots
I think what he's suggesting is basically an endless SoapDM on a map with players mixed in with bots, intended as a replacement for MGE
RipTideSure i'm just using viaduct mid as a comparison for its size
I figured as much, I just want to make sure I don't end up playing on viaduct forever. What other maps might be fun? Gravelpit last could be neat, hell even fucking Junction last would be fun if it didn't have a ceiling

I mean, I assume his mouse doesnt register all of the extra buttons properly without Synapse, I know that's an issue for Logitech, so in order for them to show up as Mouse4/5/6/whatever in TF2 for scripting, you need Synapse installed
I didn't mean to imply using macros for sending chat messages directly
