is there anyway to make the scattergun quieter? i tried doing it myself by sorta reverse engineering the way the original sound replacement (to make it sound like stock) is made and i saw this and got really confused

i also asked in huds.tf discord and the advice was to just get the scattergun firing sound, and then lower the volume in audacity or something and do it that way which wont work in sv_pure 2 or whatever, whereas the way the original replacement is done it works everywhere
help pls :-D

looking back a lot of the "jokes" he made were disturbing given what he was doing

i had this same issue and for me what worked was changing "mat_queue_mode" from -1 to 2, launching my game then changing it back to -1, but it might be different for you since im using an amd cpu

i heard the training mode is pretty good haha .
