Those are in your particles folder and it shouldnt affect hats (maybe the item_fx_dx80 would affect the unusual effects).

Is there any big difference beetwen these two commands?
mat_filterlightmaps (0/1)
mat_filtertexture (0/1)

I know Chris config has these on 0 but you have them on 1 so my question is which option gives better fps and is there a big difference beetwen the option 0 or 1?

there's almost no difference between on/off, as Comanglia said
unless you have a toaster.

Then putting 0 would give a bit more fps right?

You should see a folder called "config" in your download folder which contains the .cfg files

I uploaded them to dropbox if you have issues downloading it:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7af00wo3d2kbsms/config.zip?dl=0

It has some interesting commands. Can someone look into what they actually do?

There is no perfomance gain having these commands on 0

After I finish an MVM mission, the end screen is missing and I can't click anything. It worked normally before I installed this config.

Blungo"If you have a newer video card, lower dxlevels, will actually slow down your video rendering resulting in lower frames per second"
does this still apply?
also got some questions about if the -high launch command still increases input lag and what -nod3d9ex does which i found in your original fps cfg post

about -high, yes, it does.
-nod3d9ex disables steam in-game overlay

you can disable steam overlay in the steam settings or in a per-game basis clicking on propierties for any game
also -high seems to give a decent FPS boost if you are using a crappy laptop at least in my experience, dont know how big the input lag is

-high should only give any FPS boost at all if you either have a lot of unnecessary shit running in the background that shouldn't be running while you play a game (or at all) to begin with. Or if your operating system is set up poorly and doesn't do it's job correctly. Normally you OS should already give the game highest priority without the -high command and only use resources for other stuff if it's really necessary.
In other words, if your system is working correctly (low end hardware or not) it should already be able to do what -high does, but more efficiently.

so, if my game gets stutter/lag when I have chrome open, I should use -high?

Sorry if this is old news, but the dropbox links in the op don't work anymore. Also, can we get a link to the potato pc config? Or is that the same one as the gfx/stability configs in the op?

murkscribeHey does the comanglias config automatically remove bullet spread? Like when I shoot a scattergun and shotgun, I don't see the bullet spread.

It disables tracers, the lines that show the path of your hitscan bullets. It also reduces the number of decals. Bullet spread cannot be turned off, but the server can set it to either random (like on a pub) or fixed (like in a competitive game).
