I took some time to write out (unlike my original post) this. It's probably too long to post on tf.tv so I'll just leave the pastebin here. For people who don't really want to read my bodies of text, it's just my mindset when writing out the original post, apologies to anyone who took offense to my posts on this thread, and I include my 2 cents on who I think should be #1.

despite_12GeknaiirJust out of curiosity, do you only analyze records/stats and nothing else? It's pretty biased for me to say this since my team rolled them but I don't think Battered Doughboys is as good as you think they are. Let's be real, so far, they have a really easy schedule and they have yet to play any of the top teams in my opinion (Hells Xpress, Logic is Power, No Pawblem, SYOPS) and instead playing teams that aren't doing so hot in CEVO (6 Man Suicide, Midnight Society, Dedoris, bLand gngstrz).

Don't get this the wrong way, I'm not saying it's poorly written, as you write excellent articles. I'm just questioning why you're giving some team that beats 5-5 teams and manages to go undefeated so far all this praise.

Also I didn't intend to insult the teams I listed as "not doing so hot" but those were the latest teams with mediocre records playing one of the undefeated (at the time) teams in Open.
Well bdoughboys just beat no pawblem. also how are you going to say teams aren't doing so hot when you aren't a major factor on why syops is doing good

I like shitting on geknaiir as much as anyone, but if you think he's not doing his part for that team or that he's getting carried, you're sadly mistaken. Syops is a strong team precisely because they're so balanced and they all fill specific roles perfectly. Honestly I haven't seen a team in open in 2-3 seasons that's as well put together as syops. If they don't kill each other, they'll be a force to be reckoned with for a few seasons to come.

If you read my pastebin, I explain how I was initially trying to ask a question. I didn't intend to express my opinions because I know people don't give a shit. I do include my opinion on who should be top of open though.

Also I don't care if people disagree with me. I just want to clear this mishap that people don't seem to be getting because I have a terrible way with words.

It's not difficult for a mid level ESEA open team to do extremely well in cevo-open, its been that way since the beginning. cevo does not have the same level competition as ESEA, that's pretty common knowledge.

minus frag me all you want, I'm just stating the facts. I'm not saying anything about the teams bickering at each other here, I like everyone on both teams, so to watch them fighting just puts a bad taste in my mouth :(

Kuza's right. The CEVO match scheduling seems very forgiving, as a 1 loss team we've continuously been scheduled against teams with much worse records. Only other team we're playing in the next couple weeks thats near us in record is SYOPS.
