I want to write some stuff about my favorite band at the moment (The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die) and a few of my favorite songs from them.
Ok so the first song I want to talk about is "Ultimate Steve" which has a slow start like something out of a post-rock song. However the song quickly builds up and builds up till this moment which I believe is one of the single greatest moments on any song I have ever heard (I will post 2 links, 1 for the whole song and 1 for that moment) now what makes the moment great is the fantastic production that blends the harmonic vocals and instruments together perfectly and the 2nd thing that makes it great is the fantastic lyrics which include "Eventually, the world’s gonna end. We should stop our grieving. Let it destroy me. Let it end all suffering. The world will destroy me. Our voices will flood rivers and valleys. The world will destroy me and I am the mountains crumbling." However these lyrics might seem depressing but they are really not, I actually find a lot of peace knowing that one day I will die and all the suffering in my life will one day end.
This First link here is the whole song including the buildup. However I realize that people have short attention spans so I will give a 2nd link with the best part (although I think that the build up is part of what makes it great.)

Alright so I as said earlier this next song by them is called "Getting Sodas" and it starts out as a nice little indie rock jam until around the 1:41 mark when the shit really starts going as one of the band members start screaming "to lose your faith in the world is to lose faith in yourself. We are ghosts in your homes. We travel under the FLOOR" and then this really amazing music comes in and they start screaming;
"And when our voices fail us we will find new ways to sing. When our bodies fail we’ll find joy in the peace that it brings." and I really love the line "When our bodies fail we’ll find joy in the peace that it brings" and the song blasts out some more amazing music for like 30 seconds until the song calms down again and then starts to build up again (like in ultimate Steve) and the last half of the 7 minute song is this incredible build up and then we hear EVERYONE in the band chanting
"The world is a beautiful place but we have to make it that way. Whenever you find home we’ll make it more than just a shelter. And if everyone belongs there it will hold us all together. If you’re afraid to die, then so am I."
Which takes you back to the moment in Ultimate Steve where they are chanting "The world will destroy me." They are now singing about how life has so much pain and suffering but when you find people and a place where you belong and everyone is together then the world is a beautiful place and when you die you will find joy in the peace that it brings.

I would also like to mention that "Low Light Assembly" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. I think a lot of credit for that goes Chris Teti for blending those beautiful instrumentals that somehow manages to overwhelm me with emotion every time it starts. However its not just the instrumentals that is beautifully done but then these incredible harmonies come in that perfectly accompany the instrumentals. However there is more to it than that as the lyrics perfectly accompany the music by creating this beautiful atmosphere with lines such as "The light bleeds through the window pane, into our eyelids." and "The echoes race around the room, they sing together. "We are all the same".
I could probably write a lot more about how much this album means to me but I think I have written too much for now. So here is the link to my absolute favorite song right now - Low Light Assembly.
