So March Madness is upon us, and college basketball is near the biggest attraction in the sport. #1 and #2 seeds are pretty locked but the big talk this year is the bubble, and how broken the tournament in general is. Ole Miss, LSU, and Boise State are considered "Last 4 In" right now, while teams with better conference schedules and regular season schedules overall Texas and Indiana (I'm a little biased as I am an Indiana fan) were listed to be in, but now they're not.
your thoughts on the system the committee uses? who do you think will go all the way? I think Wisconsin could meet up with Kentucky either in the final four or finals but regardless win.

All thread derailments aside, Wisconsin should go pretty far. I'm up here in B1G country so I've heard endless talk about Kaminsky and seen endless highlights of him running rampant over the other teams here. The problem with Bo Ryan's setup is that they play 1-2 deep of their bench and rely heavily on Kaminsky for the majority of their scoring, so if he gets injured or fatigued they might be in trouble. It wasn't too difficult for them during B1G play since no team figured out how to stop him. After you've managed to contain him though you've got to deal with the fact that they rarely foul or turn the ball over. Haven't seen much gameplay of Kentucky but you can't deny that 33-0 coming into today's conference tournament final is damn impressive.
TL;DR toss-up between Wildcats and Badgers, good luck to all other teams trying to stop them

Wisconsin should take the B1g Ten championship pretty easily.
The only player who really has an impact off the bench for Wisco is Showalter, but with Jackson being back in the line-up we should see the Badgers be able to go with a smaller and quicker lineup. As long as their defense doesn't crack completely they should be fine getting to the final four.

kentucky was good at defending kaminsky last year, basically causing him to pick up the ball on double teams and throw it away, he had just 8 pts 5 reb against dakari johnson/julius randle that did way better than him in way less minutes
i hate to say it but kentucky i think will still win it all, with a top 3 college bball defense

TF2 March Madness bracket tournament right here:

People are saying that Arizona could be in the same bracket as Wisconsin again. That could be really exciting!!
I'm also really happy to see how N Iowa is doing this year, although I'm not sure how big of a contender they'll be.

So, the brackets are out now and I just finished making mine. Would anyone have any interest in doing a free bracket pool for people from this forum just for fun?
Also: I don't think Kentucky can win the whole thing, they only played 5 ranked teams the entire season and going undefeated and winning the tournament is nearly impossible.

Should be pretty entertaining few weeks. I want Wisconsin to take it but Arizona/Kentucky should be in the way and really hard games. Hope Frank gets the juices flowing.

I watched all day Thursday - it's a little tradition of the kiddo and I to watch the whole tournament, from back when he was a newborn and I couldn't do anything other than watch TV in the dark lol.
What a day Thursday was, so many great games. Still plenty of good ones to come - although all our Indiana teams are gonna be out soon excepting one.

basketball is the predecessor of video games because they run their legs out then they get injured and they have to go in wheelchairs then they resort to gaming because they cant play sports
other than that go kentcocky

no one believed me but i called it 365 days ago, right as sam dekker and frank kaminsky announced returning, that they will make it to the national championship. i thought kentucky was never a great team, just a bunch of tall, athletic players who played as INDIVIDUALS and no a team. kentucky got out coached and out teamed tonight. thx to wisconsin for making our undefeated streak to 40 years (indiana 1976) and don't really see any team pulling it off ever again, or atleast a long time.

Great to see the team that's been built up over 3/4 years to beat the all-star team. Great to see Kentucky lose, especially to my Badgers. Would make me wish I'd gone to UW-Madison if they win, State Street is going to lose its mind.
