Is it worth having more than 2 ringers when scriming?

My philosophy with ringers has been no more than one. The exception for having two is if at least one is like a backup or someone you've played with / rang relatively frequently. I always felt that two ringers changed too much.

We use the word "scrim" just as much as "pcw". Calm your tits.

Having a single ringer is fine if it's a flank class. If you have someone ringing for one of your combo players then it's a bit iffy.
2 isn't really worth it unless* you really wanna just play

yeah
maybe you're team can't improve as a unit as much but there's still a great opportunity for you all to improve individually by playing the game, especially against another team. It's not as good as having your full 6 obviously but it's the next best thing.

agreed with most here. if it's like a flank scout and roamer, then whatever, and maybe even a demo, but you better at least have your regular pockets, medic, and maincaller
I think it can still be meaningful and useful to play, but not nearly as much so as if you have your full. More than 2 is just a pug scrim which is fine, but not a substitute for real practice
Two ringers is passable depending on which class you were ringing. Ringing both Scouts or two combo classes was a dealbreaker, ringing a Scout and Medic was doable. Also it's far better to ring a person you've rostered or an experienced player, compared to ringing someone you haven't played with before.
