Mix^ and Chess Club match ruined cause of update. STREAM of DT vs Fully Torqued screwed cause of said update. So technically the update didn't directly affect the match.
But indirectly, yes for sure, causing hundreds of viewers to drop from the stream.
Awesome updates are awesome for TF2.

pretty stupid of FT and DT not to switch to another server with working stv. i know the match started late but if you have 1000 people wanting to watch you should deal with waiting an extra 5 minutes.

The FT vs. DT one was unrelated to the update no? It was delayed because they didn't have 6 paid, and there was no STV because they switched servers.
Do these kind of things ever happen with CEVO?

IF THERE IS A BRIGHT SPOT: 950 people sat through 20+ mins of low/mid time filler.
This cannot happen again. Fully Charged will have zero punches pulled tomorrow.

The update screwed the mix^ and Chess Club match. And even if it didn't screw the DT match , it contributed to the stream losing about 300 viewers due to ESEA client being broken for a HUGE time period during the mix^ match.

Salamancermust start on the dot, procedure always the same. This means when your team knows you'll be shoutcasted on the ESEA stream, for instance, you make absolutely sure that everyone is ready to go ON THE DOT. Forcing viewers to wait is detrimental!
Sad that there were ~1000 viewers on the TFTV stream tonight, and so many things contradicted the above statement made by Sal. From both teams and ESEA.
Original dt/FT match pushed back an hour, because someone hadn't paid. Luckily there was another match on, however that start was delayed because their roamer didn't have gunboats? and then long pauses due to ESEA issues. Then finally 90mins delayed the dt/FT match went live, but with no STV.
It's good to see so many viewers but very disappointing how it turned out. Especially when there are so many people putting in a lot of effort to try and improve the exposure and professionalism of the tf2 comp scene.

LangeDT vs FT being postponed and ultimately unwatchable had nothing to do with the update.
This.
The match was postponed because clockwork had trouble getting on the roster, and it got rescheduled on a dallas server. We then got it moved to a colorado server, which apparently didn't have stv set. No one noticed that the stv wasn't working.
I would suggest downloading the stv, because the final fight was intense and blank decided to talk to people on steam in the middle of it happening, lol. Again, really sorry that stv wasn't working, we'll make a mental note to check next time.
